Edit: After removing my cats bandages, I removed a patch of her (already shaved) fur due to whatever type of tape they use. I will never return. The smell is stronger than any vet office I've ever been to. You will not speak to a vet, just dropping off to be seen, pick up, pay, & leave. They are not up front about pricing. There are additional charges that I was not made aware of until drop off/pick up. For example, I could not drop my cat off without agreeing to pay $15 for an e-collar, which was understandable, however this $15 e-collar is duct taped with gauze around it that she recommended I, "tie like a shoe string to secure it." I would ask a lot of questions and shop around before agreeing to leave your pet here.

Nov 27, 2024 · Selena LawrenceOur pup Sasha was diagnosed with plural effusion at 9 weeks old. (Doberman Pincher). The previous vet we were seeing wanted to do surgery on Sasha after a week of her staying with them. They were amazing with her. But , Due to the type of care facility 24 hour/ ICU care at night we couldn’t afford another 8-10,000. No vet in my area would see Sasha due to her age. My sister told me about Budget Vet. and suggested I contact them. I emailed Budget Vet and they took Sasha case. I picked up Sasha from the previous vet and the next day Sasha was at budget seeing the Vet. Dr. Lassiter was straight forward with me on everything. She was very honest and very patient with me. The prices were way more affordable and the Practice is a-lot closer to my home. I can’t thank her and the staff enough for the amazing care and love they gave / give to Sasha. Sasha is now 7 1/2 months old and one heathy happy pup. We will always be grateful and returning clients.
Nov 04, 2024 · christina hardyI would recommend this place to anyone after a very traumatic experience at another place called The Village Vets. The staff was warm, kind and compassionate. I brought in my stray cat that lives in the back of my restaurant somehow his back leg got badly injured. I left him there and they told me they would give me a call once the doctor got a chance to look at him. When they did call they said his leg was infected. It was not broken, but they wanted to verify that with an x-ray. After their x-ray, they called me back again to let me know it was not broken. They gave him a shot of penicillin and medication for me to take home to administer the next day. Not to mention it was a fraction of the cost of that other place. When I came to pick up my cat the staff was knowledgeable and informative. The explained what I needed to do to take care of him. One of nurses even offered to help me carry him to my car. Great experience I will be back!
Dec 07, 2024 · tracey gloverI wasn't going to write a review because I am a forgiving person and I know that things happen in life that are sometimes out of human control, but perhaps this could have been prevented. We took our 6 month old cat to get spayed earlier this year. She was the funniest and most loveable cat we ever had. They called after the procedure and said everything went well and she was in recovery. When I went to pick her up, they went to get her and came out empty handed. The secretary (maybe she was a tech, idk 🤷♀️) took me to a room and said "I'm sorry but your cat is dead." My heart sank. They asked if I wanted to do an autopsy to see what may have happened; I said yes. They never called me back. I left them a message and didn't get a call back. I never saw or heard anything from the vet. Thankfully, they refunded the charge. Our family is terrified to get any cats fixed after this experience. It will not be here. This is the last picture I took of her. 😢
Sep 06, 2024 · Alina PohribMy dog is 15 and can't see so he barks at everything. They allowed us to stay outside in the car and called us when it was his turn so that his visit was less stressful. I'm grateful for them for caring about him like that.
