Broadway vet is fine for regular checkups/vaccines, but if your pet is symptomatic in ways that are hard to diagnose, I do not recommend for the following reasons: * My dog was injured further while at our appt. He was randomly and frighteningly having trouble with his back legs, and when taken in the back for a rectal exam, the doctor hurt him so bad I could hear him screaming (yes, screaming) from the other room. She was too rough with his tail and he left in worse condition than when we entered. * We had multiple visits concerning seizure-like symptoms and were told to get a video of the episode. WHEN we finally did, we sent the video in, were told this recording was indeed sufficient, and that they'd call us back. They never did. I followed up THREE times and each time was told a vet would return our call by the end of the day. * Fed up, we went to a new vet 30 minutes out of the way. In ONE visit, they referred us to a specialist for a neurological exam. Following that, we have a possible diagnosis and working theory as to how to prevent/solve the problem. Between one doctor's rough treatment, the inconvenient reality of seeing a different Dr. every time we went in and having to start the story over, and the negligence around call-backs, it seems they have too many patients and not enough time for them.

Feb 09, 2025 · Caroline MaysFriendly staff, very informative and timely. My cat doesn’t usually do well at the vet and can get very nervous, but he seems surprisingly comfortable every time we go here.
Mar 04, 2025 · Lauren CheeverI took my cat into an urgent vet appointment today (noticed he had a burst cyst or something, an open wound, on his shoulder). They wanted to sedate him and suture the wound to be sure it heals well, and they provided a financial quote to me that unfortunately I could not afford right now. They don't offer payment plans of any kind, but the vet tech saw my eye tear up and heard me explain I could not afford that right now, and went and spoke with the manager. They created an option for me that allowed for my cat to be seen and get the care he needed without breaking my bank account. I told them I had $100, and even though their plan b they came up with for me cost more than that they decided to discount it for me so I could afford his antibiotics. I am so beyond grateful. This is what it means to go to a small, privately owned local business, staffed with folks with morals and compassion. Every other time I've been here I had a great experience, and left feeling like my cat was well cared for - but this time they went above and beyond. Thank you so much for recognizing that poverty and class shouldn't be barriers for care!
Dec 05, 2024 · Kat CaskeyOur senior dogs, needed a follow-up and vaccines. We had the pleasure of having Dr.Schaad assist us. Both our dogs seemed to be in need of dental work, and after Dr.Schaad examined our pets,he assured us,that the extreme high quotes for dental work ,we had received a week earlier, would have definte adjustments. Our fur babies are in good hands.
Jun 20, 2023 · Annette CampbellUnfortunately after a 30 year relation and multiple pets, this clinic has crossed the line on customer service. From their doctors mouth; cursing, threats, and overall POOR service and the office manager tried to recommend medication advice, while telling me he is not a doctor. I am truly sorry to have to take my business (pets) else where.
