I absolutely love this brilliant find. Bridgeport is already full of understated but wonderful businesses staffed by incredible people, and yet, this place is an absolute standout. Everyone is blessed with an abundance of empathy and intelligence. I feel welcome here. My dog didn't want to leave because she completely loves the staff. A complete win, and they're also a place to board! Highly recommended.

I’ve had my dog Mowgli for almost 3 years now after rescuing him. I’ve been taking Mowgli to Bridgeport Veterinary Hospital for his initial shots, annual well checks and to treat an infection in his ear (due to him putting his entire head under water when he swims!) and I cannot say enough nice things about the staff at Bridgeport Vet. They are accommodating to my schedule, they kindly explain all of my options and they are professional and thorough throughout the entire process. My dog Mowgli has extremely bad anxiety whenever going to the vet or groomers, where he can get aggressive out of fear - almost to the point where we get turned away by some groomers and other vets in the past, but everyone at Bridgeport Vet is very helpful and understanding. Words cannot express the blessing Bridgeport Vet and their staff are to the community. While Fiona and I do not live in town, I work two doors up the street and their hours of operations range for different schedules. Their procedures are clear and maintained especially when it comes to the “waiting room”- there is not one. This means no additional stress for your fur baby and during check out, you can settle your bill, schedule future visits, and have any final questions answered without interruptions. In the exam room, the doctors and assistants are willing to listen to your concerns, explain diagnosis in simple terms, and are available to answer questions thoroughly without feeling like you are being rushed out the door. Bridgeport Vet’s staff go above and beyond to know their patients and their stories. Fiona’s first ever visit at Bridgeport Vet, Dr. McLahan and Bailey got on the floor to do the examination! In addition to exams, Fiona has received dental surgery, lab testing, and laser therapy all of which we received exceptional care. Anybody still reading this review and has not heard of Laser Therapy, which we were one of those people until an accident happened that required it, it is an amazing treatment option that not many places have. Jessica who I refer to as the Laser GodMother, educated us on the ins and outs of Laser Therapy while treating Fiona and it really did wonders! My final point and something always in the back of pet parents minds, cost. In my opinion, Bridgeport Vets pricing is affordable. For the exceptional care and service you receive I expected it to be more costly. We have received one estimate for dental and the actual cost was less. In addition, for those requiring long term prescriptions Bridgeport Vet works with a rewards program to give you some discounts every so often. Fiona absolutely adores seeing all the staff- they give her so much love! We look forward to continuing with Bridgeport Vet and their staff! ❤️ Catriona and Fiona 🐾
