Loved this Hospital! Doctors and staff are wonderful... Always attentive to my needs for my pet. They are extremely professional and polite. Always feel completely comfortable with leaving my pet there for anything he needs. I would highly recommend Briarwood to everyone looking for a safe and caring place for our furbabies.

It’s not easy expressing how good Briarwood animal hospital has been to all the animals in our house in a short review . Like many people we love our animals very much and they are part of our family. Briarwood has been there for the past seven years for us. From taking care of my very special male Stratfordshire terrier, whom was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of lymphosarcoma at nine years old. They not only showed compassion, but cared for my boy to the very end. Until now, recently saving my female tortoiseshell feline from a very life-threatening pneumonia. They have always taken care of our fur babies like family. Not only are both dr Diaz and, intelligent, thorough and masters at their craft but their staff is polite and caring as well. I definitely recommend them to anyone who wants the best care for their pets.

Dr Diaz is my horse vet. I started using them for my dogs because my Maltese had chronic allergies and my other dog and cat vet could not cure him. I decided to give them a try and they got him better in three months and he's been allergy free for 5 years! One thing I really like is that the day after my senior dogs go in for a teeth cleaning and an occasional extraction, Dr Mendez will call and see how they're doing the next day. They are reasonably priced.

This is the most inhumane place I’ve ever being at. I adopted a puppy, he is a 3 months old with a condition called micropthalmia and was recommended by the shelter to take him to this place because he had a significant lost of hair an i wanted to know why he was loosing the hair and what could we do. I met here Dr. Gerardo diaz, this person without even doing ANY type of exams on my puppy he was giving me a false diagnosis about my dogs hair loss, he was also treating the puppy with disgust, he barely touched him because it appeared as he was disgusted by the puppy, he was telling me that there was nothing that he could really do for my puppy’s skin an coat and he said that he could try but it was not going to make any difference (PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OF THIS WAS SAID WITHOUT DOING ANY TYPE OF LAB TEST) he even insinuated with a sarcastic smile on his face that it was my decision to see how far i was willing to go with the dog, i left that place crushed and traumatized because of this human being. After this, i took my puppy to Banfield hospital and they treated him with love and kindness, they did all the labs that were needed and the diagnosis is totally different from the one this inhumane person gave me based on assumptions. My puppy is being treated and in good care to be able to grow strong and healthy. I believe that this profession is for true animal lovers, if you don’t have passion for what you do, simple, STOP doing it, I may have my BA/MBA on International business and Marketing, nothing related to the medical field but I’m smart enough to know that you can’t give a diagnosis based on assumptions and not results, your license can be revoke due to this actions. I DON’T recommend this place AT ALL!
