Brawley Animal Hospital

We have been taking our rescue puppies and personal dogs to Brawley Animal Hospital for years now. We have honestly taken hundreds of dogs there and the care is always exceptional. The staff is super friendly and the doctors have a wonderful approach to medicine and a love for animals that exudes from them. We have tried many vets in the area prior to coming to Brawley and they don’t compare. Thank Brawley Animal for loving our babies as much as we love you!

I just recently changed to this office. We previously went to Lake Norman Animal Hospital. I'm so happy we decided to change Vetinarians. They are absolutely wonderful here. Everyone is so nice, accommodating,and knowledgeable. They go over all options, possibilities and price before doing and procedures, labs or recommending medication. Our furbabies started seeing Dr Shivers. She is amazing and has helped my girl more in the past month than 12 months at LNAH. We made an urgent appt and saw one of the other Vets. It went seamlessly. They work together so if you don't see the same physician they are all able to pick up where the other left off. The staff are so friendly, they come and say Hi, remembered all 3 of ours. They greet them like family with cuddles and pets. We could not be happier. I had an emergency with one of our babies and they fit us in immediately. I was like was able to send videos and get immediate advice. I was also very impressed that I got a check in call after hours and the next morning. Just took our 2 rescues to establish with them. My girlfriend and I brought our dog in on a Friday with concerns of a bad UTI. She wouldn’t go pee, so they sent us home with a sample cup. However, they charged us a visit fee, and a blood work fee just to rule anything out. The blood work showed all good signs so the Dr on-site told us that we can rule out a UTI. Over the course of the weekend, she continued to regress and was clearly in pain. We followed up on Monday and ended up bringing the urine sample to check for UTI to which they charged us ANOTHER fee for. The front desk told us results would only take 20 minutes, so we agreed to wait. THEN, as we were willing to wait, they told us the Dr’s wouldn’t’ be able to review the labs for a few hours. (LUNCH BREAK!) First off, I’m paying for results so give me my results, no matter if the Dr can review them or not. Secondly, who takes a 3-hour lunch break? Of course, it came back positive, like we knew it would, for a severe UTI. They then tried to have us bring her back for X-ray’s before seeing if the antibiotic would clear things up. In addition, we asked them to send her prescriptions to Sam’s club to save money and their tone was “well…. not sure if we can do that, blah blah blah.” My girlfriend sternly asked them again to send to Sam’s and they agreed to do so. This place does not care about your pet, and they only want to overcharge you for services out of order. Please please please, stay away!!

Do not recommend!! I have been going to Brawley animal hospital for a couple years. When me and my significant other came home from running errands out dog was acting weird and staggering. I called and asked for them to see him because it was an emergency. They told me no, and they couldn’t fit him in, even though it was an emergency. I work with dogs also and have a huge passion for them and couldn’t imagine someone calling my business and saying they had an emergency with their fur baby and telling them I can’t see them. I’ve had countless problems with them.
