Great experience, would definitely recommend. Our dog was showing some signs of pain and we booked a same day appointment for him without knowing much about the practice. The office was clean and calm and we were greeted immediately. During the exam, the veterinarian was sympathetic to our dog’s nervousness and anxiety and worked with us to complete an exam. It was so comforting, since past vets have just assumed our dog will be aggressive since he isn’t small and gets so nervous. He’s really just a big baby. They made us feel listened to and they addressed our concerns, and they did bloodwork onsite. Our dog (and us) came home happier and with the right pain meds in hand. 10/10, definitely recommend.

They weren’t able to take a simple blood test because they overwhelmed my dog with the expectation that she’d just accept being muzzled on the spot. My dog isn’t muzzle trained because she is small and I wanted her to always have the ability to communicate, meanwhile my bigger dog is muzzle trained because he has a bite record (not his fault, he was a crazy rescue case from The Bronx). My smaller dog never had problems like this before with other Bond vets - we used positive reinforcement in the past and she accepted her vaccines and blood tests with no issues, before we came to this location. She’s been a patient at Bond Vet since she was a puppy and she is now almost 3 years old. The only time she ever had a bad reaction was when she got spayed, because she was totally disoriented. My dog felt unsafe so she was flailing (something she never did before), and the tech accidentally stabbed my partner through his finger with one of my dog’s vaccines. If you can’t work safely with needles, maybe this isn’t the job for you. I work with needles full time and you don’t gamble like that with your customers. The one star is for the clinical receptionist and medical assistant taking records. After all this time working with y’all, I am going to look for a new vet.

Man oh man I wish I'd read the reviews before going here! I had high hopes. They were open on the weekend. They had online appointments. Close by. All the boxes. The lobby is nice. The receptionist even more so. The first impression was very good. But that was about it. The vet seemed rushed and did not listen to me when I was trying to explain my cats quirks. She has mild kidney issues which means she doesn't process phosphorus in her food which leads to UTI's and crystals. She was getting another bout and all the signs were there. I was hoping they would do a urinalysis, get the results, and give my girl Saline under the skin for hydration and a shot of antibiotics. My cat was feral once upon a time so she doesn't do well with pills or me trying to feed her meds. A shot is most effective. The vet did not want to hear it. "IF she needs antibiotics she get what she gets". Kept talking over me had to raise my voice to finish my question. The vet just believed I was telling her what to do rather than what I believed was happening and the best treatment option if that proved to be the case. Unpleasant. But I went ahead with the tests and took my girl home. Now I can't get ahold of anyone at the actual location to find out about the results. I get a virtual person saying maybe I need to take my cat to the emergency vet. All I need are the results and you don't know when I'll get them? If I go to the emergency vet I'll have to have the tests repeated. Are you going to refund my money? Don't waste your time here. Any response you get will be canned corporate talking points and no actual resolution.

Disappointed in my experience w Bond Vet. Brought my cat in for an issue with his foot- told he would need sedation for an XRay. They mentioned that he was too restless for them to visualize the foot well (I should mention he is a very chill & well- mannered cat). In retrospect I’m thinking the recommendation was just an up-sell hidden behind a feline fear free policy. After spending $850 for imaging that came back normal, no treatment was provided other than an NSAID. A week later with no resolution and a worsening foot, I brought my cat to his regular veterinarian with a significant foot infection that is now casted. I should mention he drained the wound, cleaned it, and dressed it all while my cat was awake and didn’t hiss once. Will not be going back to Bond.

I will never take my pets here again. Their vet staff is unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and downright dangerous. On two different occasions medication that they prescribed my cat caused him serious damage (once being severe skin burns and the other caused him to throw up blood). On multiple other occasions I had to make several trips into the office with my cat, causing him repeated serious distress, because they couldn't get the samples from him they needed. He was sedated on gabapentin and is the most relaxed cat I have ever known so that never made sense to me. In another instance I was told that my cat needed to come seriously sedated on gabapentin because the vet was pregnant and couldn't risk getting scratched. I'm sorry but if you work with animals you run the risk of getting scratched - that should not be on the owner to worry about. The vet tech staff tries their best to be supportive and communicative, but the people in charge here should never be trusted with your animals. Take this as a warning.
