I am very happy with Bon-vet ,Liily has been going to the bon-vet on lower manhattan since she was 3 months .They are very attentive and i usually pop in with any questions and i leave well informed. I enjoy the way they nurture Lilly (pet dog) very warm and i always get a good comment on how well behave she has been. I would recommend Bon -vet to all who are interested in having a good medical home for their pet. Lilly is very spoiled by all ,here is Lilly now and one when she was a puppy! Look how time goes by. I went for the first time today with my cat, they booked me for the same day and the place was clean. Vet & vet tech took good amount of time with my pet, made recommendations and answered questions. They do offer 3 year cat rabies vaccines btw! Super clear free structure and no pressure to pay for what you don't need. I will note that their vaccine cost is way higher than say petco vets. Free snacks for dogs v cute

This place, front desk staff, and Dr. Shuttleworth are wonderful! Today we brought our cat in who was excessively vomiting and they took him in right away, gave him the immediate care he needed, and laid out a treatment plan based on the scenario. Dr. Shuttleworth also went out of her way to find and make arrangements with a provider who could assist with the next steps after Bond would be closed for the day. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I took my dog in today for UTI issues, and the vet tech offered to trim her nails complimentary, as long as she wasn’t difficult. I made it clear that I didn’t want to incur a $43 charge if she was going to be challenging. While I waited, I checked medication prices online and noticed a 100% markup. The staff informed me they couldn’t write a prescription, which would delay my dog’s medication by five days if I chose an online pharmacy—mentioning hurricane delays as part of their sales pitch. Reluctantly, I decided to get the meds that day. When I reached the front desk to pay, I asked about the nail trim fee, which surprisingly hadn’t been waived. The vet tech claimed my dog had been difficult and shy, justifying the charge. I questioned this, reiterating that I had specifically stated I didn’t want the service if she was going to be challenging; I could easily do it myself or take her to Petco for $5. The manager then stepped in, stating that my dog was fine during the trim but that they do not offer complimentary services. After a lengthy explanation filled with excuses, the manager ultimately placed the blame on the vet tech while insisting I still had to pay for their errors—how does that make sense? Additionally, I noticed that the prescription instructed me to give ½ pill twice a day for five days, but the quantity provided was ten pills—something didn’t add up. I brought this to the manager’s attention, and she corrected the mistake. In the end, my original bill exceeded $700, but after carefully reviewing the invoice, it was reduced to $429. I can’t help but wonder how many people have paid hundreds of extra dollars simply by not checking their receipts before paying and walking out. It’s clear this place is taking advantage of pet owners, and I will not be returning.
