Blackberry was a life long patient here. They always enjoyed seeing him come in in his leash. The day came... They handled it with kindness, patience and professionalism. I went with the cremation for my friend and the package was SO SO nice!!! The first thing I saw was the patch of hair and immediately became emotional. It is all just so nice and will commemorate Blackberry's life so wonderfully!!!

May 15, 2025 · Livia ValentiniI have loved and used Bloom Vet for over 20 years. Today was my last. I was overdue for a wellness visit for my diabetic cat, so I called yesterday to schedule both the visit and a new insulin script. I thought everything was good until I received a message from the vet tech who was working on the script. She told me I couldn't get it until I scheduled an exam. I returned the call and another tech assured me it was all good and to come in today to get the insulin. I got there and no insulin. I was told I couldn't get any insulin until I had the exam. I understood that. What I was angry about was that no one had the courtesy of calling me before I drove to Bloomsburg, where I would be denied the insulin. Additionally, one does not call in for insulin with a full bottle in the fridge. I have a few days of doses left, but not enough to make it until the visit. The tech was super worried about a wellness visit but not the fact that the lack of insulin would kill my cat? When I explained that, the staff member at the desk offered to get management, but I had another commitment and couldn't wait. I went out to my car and immediately set up an appointment for my animal to be seen somewhere else. This is not a one-off issue, either. Over the last several years, it has had a different feel there. It's terrible trying to get in to be seen if your animal has an emergency; if you do get an emergency visit, they charge an additional fee, and they often offer supplements and foods that are way overpriced. Not to mention visits that are $400-$500 because something as simple as a blood test is required. It saddens me because I love the vets and the majority of the vet techs, but I am done.
Mar 28, 2025 · Candice GingrichI have been going to Bloomsburg Veterinary Hospital for years with all my dogs. Wouldn't go anywhere else. The Vets and staff are beyond great. They care for your pets as if they were their own. The most caring bunch of people you could ever ask for. Thank you.
Jan 14, 2025 · CharlieClean facility, staff is polite, professional, and great with cats and dogs, though (is it just me?) very expensive and increased pricing over the years seems to outpace inflation.
