We always have a wonderful experience with the staff here. The desk staff, the techs, and the vet all show love & attention to our dog. They take care of him like I’d expect them to care for their own pets. My dog is allergic to so many things and we were able to get him tested and begin immunotherapy. They have been wonderful communicators all around. My anxious dog is accommodated and he responds super well to them. I’d recommend them in a heart beat.

Welcome to Bloom Animal Hospital

Welcome to the introduction of Bloom Animal Hospital, a Pet Hospital located at 31205 Five Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154, USA. Bloom Animal Hospital aims to provide veterinary care for the pets in the Livonia community. Based on the available customer reviews, experiences vary, with some pet owners reporting positive interactions and effective treatments, while one account details a less satisfactory experience. This introduction will strive to present an objective overview based on the provided feedback.

As a Pet Hospital, Bloom Animal Hospital likely offers a standard range of veterinary services. According to one positive review, the staff, including the desk personnel, technicians, and the veterinarian, are perceived as showing love and attention to the animals. This suggests a caring environment where pets are treated with kindness. The same reviewer noted that their dog, who has multiple allergies, underwent testing and began immunotherapy at this facility, highlighting the availability of specialized services such as allergy management. They also praised the communication from the hospital staff as "wonderful all around." Another positive comment mentioned that their anxious dog is well-accommodated and responds very well to the team, indicating a sensitivity to the needs of pets with anxiety.

However, it is important to consider all feedback. One customer shared a significantly negative experience where their dog developed skin sores. They sought evaluation at Bloom Animal Hospital, incurring a $2000 cost for tests. According to this review, the hospital could not provide a diagnosis at that point but suggested further testing at an additional cost of $3300. The reviewer stated that their dog's condition worsened, and they felt that the veterinary hospital did not provide adequate care. They reported difficulties in getting appointments and speaking with an actual doctor, with vet techs often being the primary point of contact. This customer expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome and the perceived lack of care, stating they would not return.

Considering both positive and negative feedback, it appears that Bloom Animal Hospital has staff who are capable of providing attentive care and specialized treatments like allergy testing and immunotherapy, and they are also noted for accommodating anxious pets. Features highlighted by positive reviews include a caring staff across different roles (desk, techs, vet) and good communication regarding treatment plans. However, a critical review points to potential issues with diagnostic capabilities in certain cases, the cost of testing, and the level of direct communication with veterinarians.

Currently, there is no promotional information provided in the reviews. Therefore, we cannot comment on any special offers or programs that Bloom Animal Hospital might be running.

In summary, Bloom Animal Hospital in Livonia is a Pet Hospital that has received both positive and negative feedback from its customers. Some pet owners have reported wonderful experiences with a caring staff, effective allergy management, and accommodation for anxious pets. On the other hand, at least one customer has expressed significant dissatisfaction with the diagnostic process, costs, and the level of direct communication with the veterinary team. I am sharing my story so that everyone can make an informed decision. My dog developed sores all over her skin. We entered Bloom veterinary for the first time for an evaluation. $2000.00 later after all tests were ran, this place told us they still didn’t know what was wrong but assured us if we spent another $3,300.00 they can run more tests. Meanwhile our dog declined and became SoMuch worse. No one at this vet cared. In fact they held off appointments and follow ups and we rarely if ever got to Speak with an actual doctor. Vet techs always were evaluating and returning our calls but rarely ever a doctor. Despite our various calls and complaints. This place did NOTHING for us. We wasted our money. Make your own decision about coming here but we’ll never return.

You get what you pay for folks. I spent years throwing money and medications at my poor itchy dog at another cheaper vet. He just continued to get worse. After 1 visit and 1 month of different meds my Lee boy has been doing great and back to his old self. This is a specialty vet it isn’t going to be cheap but wouldn’t you do anything for your fur baby? They have several assistance payments cards that help with paying. Everyone here was super nice to me and my pet. We made Bloom our regular vet too.

Great place to bring your high stressed scared dog or cat. They are fear free and lots of treats. Best dermatologist and general practice Dr's. They can get to the bottom of any skin and ears issues.

Jo greeted us and helped our dog feel at ease. She was so friendly and upbeat. Melinda was our tech and was amazing. Giving treats and snacks and making her feel comfortable. Dr Matos was so clear and explained everything to us and what needed to be done . The appt was long but in a good way, we were not left sitting in a room but they were checking her ears, taking a culture, talking with us, making the meds. Even bringing in water for her to drink. It is very expensive but hopefully this is a permanent fix.
