I have taken my dogs and cat in a couple times. The first time they required all my dogs to wear muzzles, they have never been muzzled and are not at all aggressive there has never been an issue with any of my animals but reluctantly I agreed. This time I came in and they took two of my dogs out of the room so I couldn't even see or hear them. Then they came in for my service dog and again forced me to put a muzzle on him. This is a certified service dog we are talking about, I was shocked but they repetidly demanded that I put the muzzle on him or no treatment. Throughout the appointment none of my dogs had whimpered wined growled or barked, I can't stress that enough. When the vet started demanding I muzzle my service dog before treatment he was just sitting next to me with his head in my lap. They even took my cat out of the room where I could not see how they were handling him. He does not scratch or bite, in fact the vet said she could hardly hear his heartbeat over the purring, hardly a risk to anyone. Then at checkout they hit me with a 3.5 percent service fee for using a card. Im sorry I don't know anyone that carries 2,500 dollars cash on them for a simple vet visit for flea, tick, and heartworm preventative, plus yearly vaccinations. The vet was condescending to the point that my son looked at me and said dad its OK, we should find a new vet. I was pretty livid that even tho my dogs got a perfect bill of health they still saw fit to give me a lecture on how Americans overfeed there dogs etc etc. None of my dogs are overweight they are outside running and playing on 8 acres for at least a couple hrs a day and the vet agreed when I asked if she thought my dogs were overweight she said no not at all. I'm sitting there with a dumb look on my face like why did you just get done lecturing me and treating me like I'm stupid. Pairs with the experience I had last time where the girl who checked me out started making fun of me for saying a medication name wrong. Sorry for pronouncing it as it was spelled. She knew what i was asking for and could have just rung it up but went back and forth with me for about 5 minutes saying that medication does not exist. Finally she laughed and said oh you mean this simple flea and tick preventative everyone gets yea she was just screwing with me and it was not appreciated. I switched vets after doc Kelly sold her practice and it looks like the blissfield vet clinic is going down the same path of treating the customers like trash. It's sad that this vet clinic is so bad because it's really close but alas I will pack up my pups next time and goto Sylvania vet clinic I have got really good results from them I just hate the drive.

They've always taken great care of our dogs for normal checkups. They've helped us get a puppy through parvo and worms, and she is still healthy to this day. They have also taken in our dogs on short notice when they were in need of stitches or other immediate care. Best of all, prices are fair. I challenge anyone complaining about price to find another vet that does as good of a job for a lower price; clearly many people have never seen ER vet bills for comparison.

I had to put my dog down that I've had since I was 13. I've never been to this vet but I heard good things. And everyone was right, this place was amazing. All the staff was very discrete, patient and reassuring with the whole process. They took their time and were very thorough. They handled my pup so gently and cared for her so well. I felt very comfortable here. Will definitely be back if my other animals need any medical assistance!
