I recently started coming here for my dog's pneumonia issue. I am bringing my other dog here as well. They are honest, sincere, and polite. Very knowledgeable. I am thankful for finding them on time because they are reliable! Very eager to help, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend!

They are absolutely WONDERFUL here. I started going to them when I adopted a bunny, and she needed to be spayed. The adoption included her spay, but I was not comfortable with the vet they used. I opted to use Best Friends and pay out of pocket and it was the best decision. That was years ago and since then I have brought my pets only to them. They’ve been amazing. Never pushy on services like other vets I’ve been too. Always give me options, costs, clear explanations of services. They are also super compassionate. I lost a bunny and had to put a cat down and the entire staff was wonderful and supportive. I never felt shamed asked questions or how much something would cost. I always felt they were looking out for me and my pets.

I have brought my cat here for annual exams and nail trims. I have complete confidence in the staff. If I should ever need their help with anything serious, I would not hesitate for them to treat my feline buddy.

This veterinary office is not the closest to our house by a long shot. But we received personal recommendations from a colleague and are so happy we went with Best Friends! They truly treat our pets as Best Friends, which is all I ask! We don't have human babies, these pups are our children. They mean the world to us and I trust them in the hands of everyone at Best Friends Animal Hospital.

I used to go to Fox Lake Animal Hospital located in Fox Lake, IL. I am not saying that Fox Lake is a terrible place. It is affordable. But Best Friends Animal Hospital just have a different approach to customers and animals. I have an 18 month old pure bred Labrador and when the Doctor Bryan walked into the room along with the Vet Technician Makayla they were both so happy and so respectful. My dog Coal took to them immediately. For the first time I saw what a full exam looks like on my dog. Everything was checked on him: his face, his teeth, his ears, neck line, breathing, belly, his privates, his legs and paws; at Fox Lake he never had that done. Best Friends Animal Hospital is a very great place to bring your furry pets. They all treat you as family there, not just you but also your furry babies. I do recommend them to everyone!
