A healthy, young cat tragically died after undergoing what should have been a simple procedure. This kind of outcome is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the clinic’s competence and care standards. Please think twice before trusting them with your beloved pet’s health.

Welcome to Best care pet clinic
For pet owners in Glendale, California, seeking veterinary services, **Best Care Pet Clinic** is identified as a local "Pet Hospital." Located at **1140 N Pacific Ave, Glendale, CA 91202, USA**, this clinic operates with contact numbers **(818) 502-1134** and **+1 818-502-1134**. As a primary care veterinary clinic, Best Care Pet Clinic aims to provide essential health services for companion animals. This introduction will objectively detail its environment, typical services expected from such a facility, key features, and any available promotional information, while critically examining the significant public feedback.
The "environment" of Best Care Pet Clinic, as a primary care veterinary clinic, is typically designed to be functional and accommodating for both pets and their owners. While specific visual details about the interior are not available in the provided information, general veterinary clinics usually feature a reception area, examination rooms, and areas for basic diagnostics and possibly minor procedures. The goal is to provide a clean, safe, and relatively calm space for animal patients, though the atmosphere can vary depending on the clinic's volume and specific design choices. As a standalone clinic, it offers a more focused environment compared to larger multi-specialty hospitals. Operating hours are listed as Tuesday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. These limited hours suggest a focus on scheduled appointments for routine care, rather than a 24/7 emergency service. A welcoming front office staff is crucial for setting a positive tone, and a well-maintained facility contributes to client comfort and trust.
As a general practice "Pet Hospital," Best Care Pet Clinic is expected to offer a standard range of veterinary services for dogs and cats. These services commonly include:
- **Routine Wellness Exams:** Essential for monitoring overall health, detecting early signs of illness, and maintaining preventive care.
- **Vaccinations:** Administering core and non-core vaccines to protect pets from infectious diseases.
- **Parasite Prevention and Control:** Programs for flea, tick, heartworm, and intestinal parasite prevention and treatment.
- **Basic Diagnostics:** This would typically involve in-house laboratory tests such as blood work (complete blood count, chemistry panels) and urinalysis, as well as possibly external lab services for more specialized tests.
- **General Surgery:** Common surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, lump removals, and minor soft tissue surgeries.
- **Dental Care:** Routine dental cleanings, extractions, and oral health assessments are typical offerings.
- **Minor Illness and Injury Treatment:** Addressing common ailments like ear infections, skin conditions, gastrointestinal issues, and minor wounds.
- **Nutritional Counseling:** Guidance on appropriate diets for different life stages and health conditions.
- **Microchipping:** For pet identification and recovery.
It's important to note that as a primary care clinic, complex specialty procedures or round-the-clock emergency care would likely be referred to larger, specialized veterinary hospitals in the area.
The "features" of Best Care Pet Clinic are critically informed by the very direct and severe customer feedback provided. While all veterinary clinics aim to provide competent and caring service, the reviews presented highlight a significant concern regarding the clinic's standards of care, particularly in surgical outcomes. The repeated statement, "If you value your pet’s life, avoid Wors Care Pet Clinic at all costs," is an extremely serious condemnation. The core of the concern is the tragic death of "A healthy, young cat tragically died after undergoing what should have been a simple procedure." This outcome is described as "unacceptable" and raises "serious concerns about the clinic’s competence and care standards." The review explicitly states, "Please think twice before trusting them with your beloved pet’s health."
This feedback, if representative, indicates a significant and concerning feature: a perceived **lack of competence or critical oversight during procedures** that led to a fatal outcome for a healthy animal. For any "Pet Hospital," patient safety during medical and surgical procedures is paramount. When reviews highlight a concern about "care standards," it suggests a potential issue with protocols, monitoring, or overall medical judgment during critical moments. The repetition of this exact review emphasizes its severity and the strong negative sentiment associated with it. Therefore, while a clinic typically features aspects like a dedicated team, commitment to animal well-being, and a range of services, this particular feedback overshadows any general positive features that might otherwise be present. It suggests that a key feature of this clinic, from the perspective of this severe review, is a heightened risk associated with procedures that should be routine and safe. It implicitly calls into question the quality of medical supervision, anesthetic protocols, or post-operative care.
Given the nature of the provided reviews, any "promotional information" for Best Care Pet Clinic must be viewed through a very critical lens. While clinics typically promote their services through various means, the severe negative feedback concerning patient safety significantly impacts the perception of any such promotions. Standard promotions for primary care "Pet Hospitals" often include:
- **New client discounts:** To attract first-time visitors.
- **Wellness packages:** Bundled services for puppies, kittens, or adult pets to encourage preventative care.
- **Seasonal vaccination clinics:** Offering discounted vaccinations during specific periods.
- **Online presence:** Websites or social media detailing services, veterinarian biographies, and clinic philosophy.
- **Acceptance of pet insurance:** To help clients manage costs of unexpected accidents and illnesses.
- **Payment plans:** Options like CareCredit or Scratchpay to spread out the cost of large veterinary bills.
However, no specific promotional details are provided in the source information beyond the address and contact details. In the context of the reviews, any potential promotional efforts by Best Care Pet Clinic would need to actively address and mitigate the serious concerns raised about patient safety and competence. Without explicit promotional information or counter-balancing positive reviews, any marketing efforts would face a significant challenge in building trust with new clients given the severity of the public feedback.
In conclusion, Best Care Pet Clinic, functioning as a "Pet Hospital" in Glendale, CA, offers standard primary veterinary care services. Its environment is that of a typical local clinic with limited operating hours. However, the most salient feature, as derived from the provided customer reviews, is a significant and repeated concern regarding patient safety and the clinic's standards of care, stemming from a tragic outcome during a routine procedure. This critical feedback directly challenges the implied "best care" in the clinic's name and necessitates extreme caution for any prospective pet owner. While general primary care services are expected, the severe negative reviews raise serious questions about the clinic's overall competence and trustworthiness in handling live animals. For current promotional information or to verify details, direct contact with the clinic at **(818) 502-1134** is necessary, but potential clients are strongly advised to consider the gravity of the public feedback when making their decision.

Apr 05, 2025 · Christina BakhtamyanI have the same exact review for the office staff as others. Lydia or Linda (whatever her name is) is particularly rude and unprofessional. I gave a 24 hour notice of rescheduling for being sick and she still charged me a fee. She said nobody was in office which is not my problem. I even had a paper trail. She was rude when I checked out and made me wait on purpose. They always charge something different so I wonder where the extra money is going. The front desk made up a rule that I needed to take my cat in for a test before getting prescription food and when I took him in the dr said he could just prescribe it without the test. So I wasted money and stressed my cat out for no reason.

Feb 02, 2025 · Irina RI have been going to Dr Tang since the mid '90's, when I had a pet cockatiel with my two sons, and more recently since 2007, when my husband and I got our first dog. He saved our dog, Spencer about 15 years ago. He'd had a seizure out of the blue, when he'd accidentally eaten rat poison outside without our knowing it. Dr Tang not only saved Spencer, but that dog went on to live another 10 years almost! Most recently our dog Popper has some autoimmune disease, and Dr Tang has seen us almost 10 times over the past 2 months, trying his best to figure out how to treat this 7-year-old (young!) dog. We have all the confidence in Dr Tang's ability, expertise, and most importantly in his compassion. As others have mentioned, Dr Tang doesn't have great bedside manner with the humans who visit his practice, but he so obviously cares about our pets (his patients, as he said this morning), that I will keep going to him forever. And he is so reasonable, I sometimes wonder how he stays in business! God Bless Dr Tang!

Oct 17, 2024 · Susan LockeGreat Doctor. 10 of 10 for him. But the worst office staff. This people need to go through customer care training. They were so mean and inconsiderate. Once I was 10 min late for my appointment they charge me 20 dollars late fee. The Dr was so nice and he waved the fee. Who charges 20 $ for being late?! Today my dog had an appointment with them and o have a family emergency and I had to go to the hospital. As a courtesy, I called to cancel and told them the reason behind it why. They go like 48 $ for cancellation. It's like I went to a party and I didn't want to go. And I have been taking my pet there since she was 8 weeks old now my pet is 14 years old. I wish someone can pass on this message to the doctor so he can change his staff. The ones that help the Dr are so nice but front desk people are the meanest. One of them literally when you speak to her already sounds so not caring with her monotone voice,. Save your money and find somewhere that they give good customer service and have a great Dr.
