Banfield Pet Hospital

Went to Banfield inside Petsmart at Lady lake 2/24/25. My dog got an allergy shot (sidenfeld) and for the next two days he did not eat. he threw up. even now on the fourth day, he is eating grass and throwing up. I don't know if it was a bad batch of sidenfeld or what but I am very upset about it. They are closing this clinic down in a few days, did they use something expired just to get rid of it? We bring our pets to be taken care of, not made worse.

The doctor was not a good communicator. He looked completely mystified and blank when I asked about dogs leg. I brought dog in for leg/foot problem. Dog takes 4 whole minutes to rise from seated position and limps terribly. Dog is in great pain. I asked if dogs leg was broken and he said, "I don't know..maybe". Totally ridiculous vet care. The other personal were wonderful and highly communicative. The jury is out about this place.

Bianca loves Banfield Pet Hospital and I love taking her there because I know she will get the best treatment. The doctors and staff are very professional and truly care about their patients well being.

I wish I could give this place no stars. I booked my appointment the day before at 9am. When you do it online there is no option to upload your pets vet records. You can only enter there name gender and if they are spayed or not. 2 hrs before my appointment they call me and tell me they don't have time for my appointment. She asked in a rude tone what's even wrong with it because you didn't let us know. Isn't the point of a visit to go and find that out? So I explain my cat just has issues using the bathroom and her laxatives haven't been working for her lately so she just needs an enema. She said let me talk to the doctor. He told her to tell me he doesn't feel comfortable giving her an enema. I told them I have been to multiple vets and they never have an issue doing this. And she's like well you need to take your cat to the er because we are canceling your appointment due to the Dr not feeling comfortable giving her an enema. I said what if I sent my vet records. There like no nothings going to change our mind and no matter what you say we are canceling your appointment because we don't have time for you. I am definitely reporting them to the BBB. So unprofessional and uncaring for any animals. I have heard nothing but bad things about this place but wanted to give them a chance but I have never heard of a vet doing this to anyone.

They are great with spirit, he's a dog that's hard to handle ,they make it easy on me I'm 77 ,less stress on me and him ,Thanks to the staff at Banfield in lady lake
