Banfield Pet Hospital

This was going to be my first time going to this location, and I doubt I’ll never go back. I make an in-room appointment for my sick dog for Saturday (as this was the only one in my area that had the option) and they decide to give my appointment slot to someone else. They put me under “TO BE DETERMINED” since I did Not “confirm”… no one called and asked me to confirm my appointment, as I usually Get it through a text message. I ask why did you give my appointment to someone else, and the lady on the phone said “we called to confirm twice,” which is not true. They called me one time to ask if I would Like to move my appointment, to which I was Unable to, and the second time they called me while I was Working saying that if I don’t call back then they will cancel my appointment. I called Back not even an hour later to hear this??? And now there are NO in-room appointments for the next month at any location!!!! It’s clear someone hounded them for that spot and they decided to shove me and my dog to the side. So sad, do better.

Banfield and their team have been very compassionate and flexible with our frenchie puppy. We have their wellness plan that includes his neutering and it has defiantly helped us with all his vaccines and visits we make. Thank you doctors, vet techs, and front desk staffing for being very inviting and putting my concerns at ease. I appreciate all the work you do for us!

I called them several times trying to inform them that I was running late to my appointment due to traffic. Phone kept saying the office was closed. I arrived and was informed of a 5 min grace period which I didn’t know about. It’s no problem to me to follow a late rule but having the phones off when you’re open is unprofessional.

We took my dog to the Niles location and the team could not hold down our dog for her shots. She gets really anxious and we had to keep giving her medicine to calm her down before her appointments. I get that they are busy but it felt like the team was not even trying to hold our dog down properly to give her the appropriate shots and it was really frustrating. We took her to a different clinic and they were able to give her the necessary shots just once.

I have had 4 dogs over the years at banfield. The last two years have been so horrible dealing with Niles banfield, that initially we cancelled our plans. Niles banfield every single time I need Cashs scripts refilled it a two weeks crap fest. I keep calling asking why they can't just call his scripts in. It's a Hassel, talking to the girl in front with all her excuses, and talking to her wend Thurs of last week, Cash scripts still not refilled. Do not take your animals here. My dog has anxiety when it rains, and I have been dealing with two years, so his meds are needed when they are needed. Do not go to the Niles specifically.
