Banfield Pet Hospital

I’ve had banfield pet insurance for my two cats and dog for a couple years now. The Arvada banfield is about five minutes from my house so I typically take all my animals to this location. I made an appointment for my two cats at the Westminster location for a dental exam last Wednesday because the Arvada location never has any availability. I also made an appointment for my dog on the same day at Arvada. When I showed up for my dog’s appointment at 8:45am the receptionist named Bree told us they were unable to see our dog because the other banfield had our file and there was nothing they could do. When we asked why she hadn’t called us to inform us they couldn’t see our dog she was extremely rude and disrespectful and said “ God we just found out” and continued to curse at us. She told us we’d better call the other banfield and ask tell them to get us in because there was nothing they could do, without offering any other help or solution. When we called the Westminster banfield they were helpful and tried to accommodate us but told us the Arvada location definitely could have continued with the appointment and just weren’t trained properly. Needless to say we will be switching all of our animals over to Westminster even though it is 15 minutes further from us after this experience. We even asked to make a formal complaint and nothing ever really came of it. We were called by someone who didn’t have much to say and didn’t’t really follow up with the complaint.

We always get excellent care at Banfield. They understand the health issues of my older dog and show great concern and empathy when treating him. I really appreciate the entire staff at Banfield.

I had a wellness program thru Banfield ,my dog wasn't eating or drinking water I took my dog to the nearest Banfield they took X-rays and said the dog had some kind of blockage and they suggested surgery right away! Luckily my boss suggested a second opinion and I took the dog to my bosses vet in Bailey they did x-ray "s no blockage and found a burn on the dogs tongue as to why the dog wasn't eating or drinking ! I tried to cancel my wellness plan ,they made me continue payments for the rest of the year,I was very disappointed I had to get a loan to pay both vets and keep paying the wellness plan! $$$ not happy!

I love everything about Banfield Pet Hospital. My dog loves all the employees/staff. It all means so much to not have to worry. I am over joyed with how happy my Rottweiler is. They take care of everything. Thank you!
