Welcome to Banfield Pet Hospital

Welcome to the local introduction of Banfield Pet Hospital, a Pet Hospital located at 4190 Vinewood Ln N, Plymouth, MN 55442, USA. You can contact them at (763) 553-9366 or their mobile number +1 763-553-9366.

Banfield Pet Hospital is a well-known chain of veterinary clinics. One long-term customer at this Plymouth location reports consistently positive experiences over 14 years, highlighting their professionalism, helpfulness, and willingness to answer questions. This suggests a potentially well-organized and communicative environment for routine pet care.

Services and Features:

  • Routine Pet Care: The hospital provides general veterinary services, including check-ups, vaccinations, and preventative care, as indicated by the positive long-term experience.
  • Senior Pet Care: They have experience in caring for older pets, as one reviewer mentioned bringing their dog there from puppyhood to age 14.
  • Professional and Helpful Staff: The staff is described as professional and helpful, readily addressing pet owners' inquiries.

Promotional Information (Based on Reviews):

No specific promotional offers are mentioned in the provided reviews. However, the long-standing positive relationship reported by one customer could be seen as an implicit endorsement of their consistent quality of service over time.

It is crucial to consider a significant negative review detailing a concerning experience. This customer described the location as disorganized and reported that when their dog presented with pain, the staff did not attempt to diagnose the issue but instead immediately suggested considering euthanasia due to the dog's age. A second opinion at a non-Banfield clinic revealed the dog simply had excess gas, was easily treated, and recovered fully. This review raises serious concerns about the diagnostic approach and the level of care provided in at least one instance, contrasting sharply with the positive long-term experience shared by another customer.

For local users in Plymouth, MN, Banfield Pet Hospital offers routine veterinary care and has a history of positive experiences for some pet owners over many years. However, a recent negative review indicates potential issues with their diagnostic thoroughness and communication in certain situations, particularly concerning senior pets. It is advisable for pet owners to consider both positive and negative feedback when making decisions about their pet's care and perhaps seek detailed explanations and options for any health concerns.

Terrible service. This location was the worst and seemed so disorganized. My dog was experiencing pain and they didn't even try to figure out the source of the pain, they just said he's old and we need to consider his quality of life and whether to keep him alive. I was shocked - he is generally very healthy especially for his age. Second opinion elsewhere at a Non-Banfield location found that he simply had an excess amount of gas likely from eating something, he was treated and it passed. He is now just fine. I can't believe the poor service I was given and jumping straight to recommending euthanasia for him.

The staff here are amazing and always so friendly. They handle our fur babies with so much love. Not only my families but others I seen while there. We have been taking our pets here for a couple years now. Yesterday my fur baby got fixed. A big thank you to Ben. He was so amazing when I picked my lil guy up. Ben made sure all my questions/concerns were answered. You can just tell he has a great heart. I had to call once home due to my lil guy getting sick. Ben took the time to give me a few tips to help make him more comfortable and made sure I didn't have any more questions before we hung up. Overall I would defiantly recommend Banfield in Plymouth to anyone. Great service and always with care in hands.. Edit: The follow up with them is amazing. They called to check on my lil guy and make sure he was doing good. Great staff.
