Mar 27, 2025 · Desmond WiltzI’ve been a loyal customer for eight years, and during that time, I’ve seen Banfield’s service fluctuate—sometimes improving, but often declining. I’ve been understanding, especially during COVID-related challenges, but my last two visits have shown a complete lack of accountability and customer care. About a month ago, I went in for a prescription refill and was given the wrong medication. I was charged for it, and when I returned to correct their mistake, I was simply told they wouldn’t issue a refund—a major oversight for a veterinary practice. Most recently, I called a day ahead to request an urgent appointment for my pet. I was told they were fully booked but could schedule me for the next day at 3:30 PM (02.16.22). When I arrived, I was told I wasn’t on the schedule. Mistakes happen—but what made this worse was that they offered no solution. I asked if I could at least briefly speak to the vet, and that request was flat-out denied. Instead of making any effort to address their scheduling error or help my pet, they dismissed me entirely. When businesses make mistakes, they typically own up to them and try to accommodate their customers—but clearly, Banfield does not operate that way. They make no effort to resolve issues, acknowledge their errors, or even provide basic customer service. At this point, I’ve had enough. This will be my last visit to Banfield. Their approach to service is transactional at best—bring you in, do the bare minimum, and send you on your way. If you’re looking for a veterinary practice that actually values its clients and their pets, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Update (03.21.2025): Unfortunately, my experience with Banfield has only gotten worse. I called a different Banfield location to request medication and schedule a euthanasia appointment for my pet on 03.13.25. To my shock, I was told that my pet was already listed as deceased as of 02/26/25—by the original location. This is completely unacceptable and incredibly distressing. What’s even more frustrating is that if your pet passes away while on a wellness plan, you're still required to continue making payments until the full year is completed. This is Corporate America as is finest. This experience has left me extremely disappointed in both their practices and the lack of empathy shown throughout the process.
Mar 21, 2025 · JulioNurses and Doctor were great. They took time to answer all my questions and concerns. They explained a few times the post surgery steps and care to give to our dog. I love that they always do a check up call the next morning. Our dog is totally up and running the day after.

I had previously had amazing experiences but upon taking my cat to this location for the first time, I decided to no longer be a Banfield client and take my cat to a vet that actually prioritizes both their health and comfort. My cat had a scheduled exam and I brought him 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time. I was told it would likely be an hour or two until I could come pick him up. This turned into them keeping my cat for over 6 hours. I called several times and was told that the vet was on lunch and would see him when he came back from lunch (this was after my cat had already been there for TWO hours). I can’t even imagine how stressful this must’ve been for my cat. I had to call three times (and got different answers three times) before finally being told I could come pick him up. The vet did call me after the 6 hour mark to share the exam findings, and I did have a pleasant conversation. This however is overshadowed by the clear time mismanagement and disregard for my pets comfort. Read the other reviews, this is a common complaint and seems to be a frequent reason to leave Banfield and never return. I would NOT trust this location with your fur baby. There are too many WONDERFUL vets in this area that take wonderful care of your animals for competitive prices. I will never trust this location or chain with my animals ever again.
Sep 08, 2024 · Landon RLuna may hate coming here but I LOVE IT! I’ve taken my cat everywhere and they beat out private practices for me. everyone is so attentive and they explain everything to me. That means a lot to me considering that it can always feel alien when talking about your pets health and what’s necessary and what isn’t. Also since Jordan manages the practice now it’s been super welcoming and an easy experience for me. They even think ahead before I have to when it comes to my fur baby’s anxiety! Love them!
