I had concerns about my last visit for my cat, but thankfully, the new manager, Gabriel, and Dr. Woodley took the time to listen patiently. They addressed all my concerns and provided the best care and treatment for my cat. Dr Woodley explained my cat health condition and medical exam results in details for me over the phone and in person. I'm especially grateful to Gabriel for his excellent customer service and diligent efforts.

Gabriel is very thorough and professional. Really great working with Gabriel as a client. He's efficient and gets the job done. And I can only speak volumes about Dr. T too. She's amazing and really cares and gives you one on one time and explains everything. I just know every time I go there. I feel super comfortable with these folks. Thank you!

Honestly, this place is wildly inconsistent. One’s experience will VARY GREATLY depending on the doctor and staff of the day you need them. Previously, I had left a glowing review for Dr. Woodley and Mathew, and that still very much stands. They were both fantastic and provided me and my dog Kip excellent care and service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ UNFORTUNATELY, my second experience with this clinic was mind-blowingly bad. I was helping with a stray cat who had been living in the Whole Foods parking. This cat was a stray, but NOT FERRAL. He appeared healthy, but needed to be tested for Feline Leukemia before he was put in a setting with other cats. I made an appointment request online and the next morning I got a call to confirm the appointment. During that call I explained the circumstances and that I needed a basic exam and FeLv test. A time was set and everything seemed normal and fine. A little while later I called back to see if I could come in a bit earlier - or even drop him off for him to be examined and tested at their convenience. It was then I was told that they wouldn’t be able to help me AT ALL because the cat was not tested for rabies!!!! I have been involved with countless rescues for over 40 years and in 5 states (NY, FL, TX, OR, CA) and I have NEVER heard of a vet refusing service to an animal simply because they were a stray and weren’t tested for rabies. Obviously this animal showed zero signs of carrying rabies. If we had been suspicious of this, we would have called Animal Control. This was simply a homeless and docile cat. So that was that. I went in search of finding another vet who could help us - and found several. We went with the least expensive. The cat was examined and found to be in relatively good health. His FeLv test was negative and he was put in a foster home. So in the end Banfield you lost the business and wound up with a bad Google review.

Very bad experience visiting Banfield Pet Hospital at Solana Beach today. Really not able to give this location a thumb up and recommend to friends. I scheduled an appointment for my dog's regular check-up and visited the hospital this afternoon, because he had yeast infection issue before, I would also have requested for ear hair plucking as well as examination. However, though the receptionist was very nice, but I may be not lucky enough to get a professional service, - I couldn't get a chance to talk the doctor; - I couldn't tell any difference after his ear hair plucking, even though I was charged for that, it is totally against my previous experience for dog ear hair plucking in other places. I was told that they only do internal canal hair removal - what a wonderful explanation. I am member of Wellness program and I swear this is my first and last time to visit Banfield Pet Hospital at Solana Beach!!!

My pups like many others are of the COVID era of 100% human/owner contact, so needless to say their a bit special. This Banfield location far exceeded their expectations as all we saw were tails wagging when we left. Biggie would like to add, she enjoyed the filtered water provided, just wished she had more to enjoy.
