Banfield Pet Hospital

I've been with Banfield for over 20 years - 10+ years with the Blakeney location. That said, I've seen many changes over the years with the staff. Up until recently, everyone there has been very caring and trustworthy - which is what it should be with your Veterinarian (just like your Primary Doctor). I have 6 dogs so they all know me and each of my babies very well. Unfortunately, the experience I had today with the front desk associate was unacceptable, unprofessional and unpleasant. From the attitude of the greeting (seemed very put out, like the employee didn't want to be there) to being argued with about the appointment time and which dog was there, to being told I had an attitude, then shown to my room and having the door slammed as the employee walked out when I asked to speak with the office manager. I then overheard the employee complaining about me in the back - again unprofessional to say the least. I strongly considered cancelling both of the appointments and moving to the Rea Farm Banfield, however, the Vet came to see me. She mentioned that when the employee was in the back complaining that the other staff members were very surprised when they found out who she was complaining about! After I had returned home and told my Husband about the incident, he told me he had a similar experience with the same individual a week ago when he took one of our other dogs for an 10 AM appointment. He arrived 5 minutes early. The employee was at the desk and never acknowledged him. So he told her he was there for the 10 AM appointment and her reply was "We're not open yet" and turned away. He was taken back by her attitude and response and told her that it wasn't a problem and that he'd wait. Absolutely unacceptable in a customer interfacing position. She could have simply said something along the lines of 'we'll get you checked in just give me a moment to get logged in'. I certainly hope Banfield does something about this. I don't want to let one bad egg ruin it for the rest of the team, but it will not be easy to continue my service there if this is what I have to deal with each time. Bring Rhonda back - she was absolutely amazing!!!!

I just want to take a moment to express gratitude for everyone at this location! They helped turn the hardest decision into a moment of peace for me and my old baby boy. Thank you Rachel and team. (I can’t remember the Vet’s name)

I recently took my pet to Banfield Pet Hospital, and it was a great experience! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we walked in. The reception area was clean and organized, which set a positive tone for the visit. The veterinarian was knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly examine my pet, explaining each step of the process and answering all my questions. I appreciated their compassionate approach, making my pet feel comfortable throughout the visit. They also provided helpful advice on nutrition and preventative care. The facility is equipped with modern technology, which gave me confidence in the quality of care my pet received. The follow-up communication was prompt, and I felt supported even after our appointment. Overall, Banfield Pet Hospital offers excellent veterinary care in a friendly environment. I highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for a reliable and caring place for their furry friends!

Our little 14-year-old poodle Bella gets excellent care at the Wesley Chapel Banfield. They are so thoughtful and caring plus the vets are so professional. I always get quick and professional answers from them. I highly recommend this Bandfield to anyone who has a pet, and especially an older pet.

Closes early and does not answer phone. My wife called in some prescriptions for our dog and clarified that they would be open until 6 as we wouldn't be able to make it there until 5:45 due to our work schedule. We came on Friday 8/9 around 5:35pm and they were closed with the phones turned off. We came again Monday 8/12 at 5:40pm and they were closed and phones turned off. As of today, our dogs' meds are out, and we're pretty frustrated that they close before their listed hours, even after clarifying on the phone that they would have someone here till 6.
