I scheduled a 12:30 PM in-room appointment online because my pet has a UTI—a routine issue that typically just requires a dipstick test. The booking system specifically asks if you want an in-room or drop-off appointment, and I chose in-room because a drop-off shouldn’t be necessary for something this simple. However, at 10:00 AM, I received a call stating that they wouldn’t be able to do an in-room appointment for a UTI because they “didn’t have time.” Instead, they told me if I could drop my pet off within the next 45 minutes, they would keep them until 5:30 PM. Why would a simple UTI exam take almost 8 hours? I pay nearly $100 a month for their Wellness package, but what’s the point if they can’t fulfill their end of the deal? This feels sketchy. I would never drop my pet off when an in-room option is available. To make matters worse, the last time I came in for a UTI concern, they said they couldn’t collect a urine sample because they couldn’t find the bladder with a needle. I told them I could express the bladder myself, and within seconds, I produced the sample. Turns out, my pet did have a UTI, and they prescribed antibiotics. Make it make sense.

Omg! I needed 3 vaccines, i told them twice, I'm moving out of state and i need them for new property to move-in other wise, i can't get house for rent. They said no worries we will get for you, plus i had to drive 5 hours, i brought my dog esrly morning 8am. They kept my dog until 2pm and they didn't do nothing because my dog was jumping? Wait what? I think most of dogs doesn't like vaccines but your job is to give to them. I'm paying over $60/month to get what i need but if you can't do your job. I'm canceling my membership because i don't like to waste my money

The staff is always dismissive. I do not feel comfortable leaving my pets at any banfield. in the month of December I visited the office 3 times to get appropriate paperwork for my dogs to travel outside of the country. I went twice to the plainfield location and once to Homewood. The doctor in Homewood wouldn’t even look at the dogs despite us sitting in the waiting room for 20 minutes. I ask for a copy of the vet records they said they could not give them to me, I had to retrieve them from online. all 3 times I begged for them to look at their records and ensure they were up to date all on necessary vaccines and parasite. again I was dismissed and told everything was fine. I Purchased my 2 dogs plane tickets for a round trip over $800… for them to not be able yo travel bc of missing requirements on the vets end. not only was this a waste of time and money. it was 2 days before christmas! At the airport I had to arrange for some to come get my dogs and look out for them until my return back. After complaining and questioning the staff they admitted to never even documenting on my pets visit!! I work in the medical field and this is awful! I am truly disgusted with the kind of care and services provided at banfield. to top it off when I called to cancel my plan they are charging me ridiculous amounts over thousands of dollars To cancel. I am stuck with this company until the end of my term for both plans and do not feel comfortable leaving my dogs nor having any of the staff around my pets.

They never seen my dog and refused to see my dog. Then tell me that they still want a year of payments. For what no services have been performed and never will. It’s a scam. Thanks for stealing my money.

If I can give no stars I would. I had a really unfortunate experience when I brought my cat to this veterinary clinic about 6 weeks ago. My cat was suffering from a skin issue and was displaying signs of lethargy, so it was crucial to get him immediate medical attention. However, the overall visit turned out to be the worst experience ever. During the examination, the vet administered steroids and prescribed them for home. However, even after following the recommended treatment, my cat's condition has worsened rather than improved. This has left me feeling extremely disappointed and upset. Furthermore, I was disappointed that the clinic did not provide any at-home care recommendations or suggestions for the type of food that could help improve my cat's condition. I was left feeling lost and unsure of how to best care for my pet during his recovery process. On top of all this, the receptionist at the clinic was incredibly rude and unhelpful. They showed no empathy or understanding towards my concerns and seemed more interested in rushing me out than addressing my questions or providing any additional information. This lack of professionalism only added to my overall negative experience at this veterinary clinic. To add to the frustration, the clinic also provided a quote of over 1k for additional tests, which I found to be completely outrageous. Considering the lack of improvement in my cat's health, I now deeply regret choosing this clinic for his treatment. Overall, the experience has left me feeling both saddened and angry, as my pet's condition has not improved and I feel as though I have wasted both time and money seeking medical help from this clinic. SAVE YOUR MONEY and AVOID THIS PLACE.
