Banfield Pet Hospital

I recently took my dog Amber to Banfield Pet Hospital in Duluth for her first visit to get her immunizations, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Dr. Izabella was fantastic; she made Amber feel comfortable and provided excellent care. The check-in process was seamless, and Dr. Edwin was incredibly helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly. I really appreciated how they were able to get us in for a same-day appointment, making it easy and convenient. Highly recommend Banfield for their friendly staff and great service!

Marvin did an amazing job with helping me in my boys dogs. He enjoyed the company of my sons as well in they kept one another entertained while he was working. Marvin is a good person for the company

Amazing people, caring , professional and fast service. From the front desk receptionist to the Vet and assistants this hospital is about efficient, compassionate healthcare for your puppy. I was moving my dog from another Banfield due to distance and was nicely surprised with the fantastic service.

This location is prolly the worst location in the Duluth and Norcross area…. The service was not homey or welcoming it felt more like a money grab location. They were more focused on pushing a plan for me to buy than the issue at hand ( my dogs skin). When I received an update call I was given an extremely vague explanation for my dog along with an additional $500 added onto my $200 total already. Now the price wasn’t really my issue be it that I was already aware my dog has some pricey issues. My problem was the lack of explanation for the services they wanted to preform. This lead me to say over the phone “I would like discuss all of this in person because I might need a payment plan of some sort and a better explanation of what needs to be done and why” once I showed up nobody gave me a break down on my dogs condition or what she had going on. Nor did I get a break down sheet on what she had going on and needed done .( something other locations offer weather you can pay for the service or not) It was almost like they heard “can’t pay in full” and abandoned helping me completely. I also asked two people who were dealing with my dog for nail trimming so she doesn’t cut herself when she scratches I received my dog back with no nail trimming. Now I could have asked about my dogs diagnosis and for that nail trimming after she had already been seen. But the vibe was enough for me to pay what I had to pay and leave. I’d very much rather go to a different location and get a diagnosis all over again and get my dogs nails trimmed then dealing with this location again. I highly recommend the banfield in norcross near the dollar cafe and dicks sporting goods or the venture Duluth location. Both of those locations really value the care of your dogs and try their best to help you care for your dog in any financial situation despite how busy they can be .( side note this location was not busy at all which is also another reason I’d rather stay away because there’s not many doggie patients and there still isn’t much care)

I cannot explain how dissatisfied I have been with this vet as a whole. I was an idiot who did not do enough research and clearly that’s where i went wrong enough to choose Banfield. They only care about money and wasting time. They sell this “wellness plan” to you as a “monthly service” without disclosing to you that you have to PAY TO LEAVE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Not only did they lose my kittens fecal sample..literally how, but they gave us the generic “he has dermatitis” when in actuality he had a SEVERE FUNGAL INFECTION on his skin. THE INCOMPETENCE IS ASTOUNDING. I trusted them to give my five week old rescue the care he deserves but isn’t i got scammed and now have paid 200$ to know nothing but he’s a boy..as if i couldn’t tell myself. Additionally, the “appointments” are a joke. Make an appointment for 4:30 like i did? you won’t be seen until 5:45. Then, they’ll make you wait more but at least you’re in a private room?Another 20 minutes will go by before a nurse will speak to you for 5 minutes and then wait for 10 before the actual vet talks to you for even less! Then you’ll be waiting until THEY ARE MOPPING OUTSIDE WHILE CLOSING to actually check you out and scam you for all you’re worth, all in the name of “caring!” If you care for your pets, i am BEGGING YOU to find somewhere else.
