Banfield Pet Hospital

We've had 2 dog Emergency with 2 different dogs this month! They squeezed us in last minute more importantly they squeezed her in today! After closing early amd opening up late for the snow/ice! Outcome great for 1st baby but last Emergency not such good news but - either way they have gone out of their way to help our kids, and helping with insurance. I LOVE the while team at Banfield they love our kids!

No matter what your appointment is for or what price you are told you will be charged for next appointment, during your appointment you will be told you are paying hundreds more then you were told when making the appointment. That is without any additional services being added. You will be spending hundreds more than anticipated. You are going to be charged for an office appointment when all that was scheduled was a blood draw by a technician. That is to say you are charged for seeing the doctor without seeing the doctor. The level of transparency about pricing is unethical and immortal. When you raise these issues with the clinic their response is to try and sign you up for a health plan which costs even more money. Your pets care and medical needs is not the priority. The priority of the clinic is to charge for as many services as possible regardless of need or even if those services actually happened. Stay away from Banfield at all costs because costs is their only interest. The health of you bank account is their only concern, not the well being of your pet.

Teddy has been going to see Dr. Vessel since his first vet visit in 2019. Dr. Vessel has always taken great care of him and taken the time to answer any of my questions or concerns. I know that when Teddy is in his care he will get the best care!

Brought by Dog in on 12/20/2024 for a Dap vaccine, cleaning her ears and medication for calming her for grooming behaviors. He prescribe Tramzone from there facility, the cost is 10 tablets for $19.00, I explained to the Vet that I can’t afford that and Chewy had it for $.17 per table, he approved to send s fax to Chewy, which never happened, I have called Benfield Hospital 2 x which was no answer? Chewy also contacted Benfield Hospital, they stated that were very overwhelmed and need more time. I called 12/27/2024, which it took me 5 attempts to before any body answer. When she did answer she was rude and overwhelmed, and said he need to wait the until til the Dr gets back on the 12/30/2024, Dr Vessel did okay the faxed. I don’t understand it’s been 7 days since the visit. I paid my bill, I get no response for my services. My thoughts are in questions.

All of the doctors are great but we’ve been with Dr Carson for awhile now and she is so great with my dog. She is very kind, compassionate, thorough with her evaluations, and very knowledgeable with a lot of the stuff that my dog is experiencing. I would highly recommend her! Also, Lori is incredible. She knows me and my pet well and is so kind and also so efficient. I know that when I ask a question or need something, Lori is going to get it done. I always get excited when she’s working because she’s great to be around but I also know that we’re going to get the best care possible.
