Banfield Pet Hospital

I recently brought my dog, Saint, to Banfield Pet Hospital for his neutering, and I’m so impressed with the care he received. Dr. Kelly was thorough and reassuring, Laura, the vet tech, was gentle and attentive, and Chelsea at the front desk made the check-in process easy. They even called twice after the procedure to check on Saint’s recovery, which really showed their dedication. I highly recommend Banfield for anyone looking for a compassionate and professional team!

This was one of my first experiences with a vet as I am a new cat owner, but I had a great experience with Banfield in Cap Hill! Although pet surgeries are always painfully expensive, this clinic quoted me a much better price than other vets I had previously spoken to. Dr. Cross worked on my kitty and she was able to extract 3 problem teeth and a tumor from my cat in one procedure, which we had expected to need two different visits to complete. The tech's that checked us in were very patient and kind, and everyone who worked there did a great job keeping us updated and informed on the status of our kitty. They made an inherently stressful experience as easy as possible!

I’m so sad this banfield is closing 😭 I loved that it wasn’t attached to a petsmart. I felt like this has been this best quality banfield i’ve ever taken my dog to. I will definitely miss it 😢

I've had a Wellness Plan for my 16 year old cat since she was a kitten, and I've always had positive experiences with Banfield. We've lived in different states over the years and I appreciate the convenience of Banfield, which has been in every state we've moved to. I'm writing a review now because we recently had a health scare with our cat and I am very appreciative of the care and advice that Dr. Kelly provided. When we brought her in for a follow-up on her injury and arthritis (her initial care was at VEG for the injury, and they were excellent), he was very compassionate and patient. He answered all of our (many!) questions about the best ways to provide care and pain relief for our cat. He's also been helping us with monitoring some early signs of kidney issues and changing her food, etc. It's clear that he really cares about helping animals. When I had follow up questions regarding her treatment and meds, he called me back in a timely manner and answered my questions. All of the vets I've interacted with at Banfield over the years have been great, but this is the first "major" health scare we've had with our cat and I am grateful for Dr. Kelly's compassionate care during this time. Caitlin at the front desk is also always great and helpful with scheduling or relaying messages/questions to the vet team and ensuring there is follow-up. I will agree with other reviewers about staff turnover, so if continuity of care with the same vet is important to you, Banfield is probably not the place for you. However, I have not had a negative experience with any of the vets at Banfield, it's just usually a different one every year or so.

Capital Hill Banfield Veterinarian Hospital is awesome! They have indoor parking so need to deal with that! Also they have different plans with discounts and free visits anytime! The staff is friendly and professional, they greet me with my precious boy and show sincere interest and compassion. The Vet tech’s help put him at ease. They are well educated and want to hear why I’m concerned. I find that refreshing, it’s nice to receive someone’s undivided attention! My regular Vet Doctor Kelly is wonderful, overtime I’ve found the other Doctor’s also have that special bond and I’m sure they share the same philosophy. I use the plan with a yearly teeth cleaning. My babe is 14 years old and still full of energy! I know his teeth cleanings have made a difference. It’s hard to feel good if your mouth hurts. That’s our scoop, and I highly recommend Banfield Capital Hill Veterinary Hospital!
