I have been consistently impressed with the care and professionalism provided by Banfield Pet Hospital, especially regarding my pet, Xena. Xena has a bit of a temper, but Dr. Dubuisson, along with Nurses Ms. Hargrave and Ms. Ramirez, have always been incredibly understanding and compassionate with her. On March 4, 2025, I called Dr. Dubuisson to inform him that Xena had been feeling unwell. He listened attentively to all her symptoms and, despite a busy schedule, was able to fit her in for tests the same day. It was then that Xena was diagnosed with pyometra. Dr. Dubuisson acted quickly to arrange surgery for her the following day, even suggesting that we consider other facilities with immediate availability. However, due to Xena's temperament, we felt more comfortable having Dr. Dubuisson handle her care, my husband and I are so grateful for that decision. Had Dr. Dubuisson not taken swift and decisive action, Xena's condition could have worsened. Thanks to his commitment to making her a priority, she was able to undergo surgery promptly. The procedure went well, and we learned just how critical it was that we did not delay. In addition to Dr. Dubuisson, I would also like to thank Nurse Hargrave, Ms. Ramirez, and the rest of the nursing team for their excellent care. Dr. Dubuisson, Ms. Hargrave, Ms. Ramirez, and the entire team were all kind, supportive, and ensured that Xena felt safe and comfortable during her time at the hospital. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Dubuisson, Ms. Hargrave, Ms. Ramirez, and everyone at Banfield for their exceptional care and support. Because of their dedication, Xena is on her way to recovery, and I truly cannot thank them enough.

Mar 05, 2025 · Elva DePazTerrible, horrible experience. My cat had an eye surgery in early September back in China before I came to America with her one week ago. After the stitches were taken out here, we found there is some remaining problem with her eye that kept her from opening her eye fully. After consulting the Chinese vet, I learnt it should be a relatively simple procedure to deal with it. I came to Banfield this Monday because it is closest to my home. I don't have a car yet, so a walking distance is highly preferred. I made an appointment on Banfield website for an in-room service for 11am. However, after i got there, the receptionist said they actually only accept drop-offs in the morning (information on their website is hence inaccurate), and when I asked to reschedule as early as possible, she suggested 3:30pm the next day, citing a good reason that their regular doctor will be there then and will be better able to treat my case. I came again the next day, 40min in advance, after carrying my cat walking 20min in the early afternoon scathing sun. When I got there, it's another receptionist. She asked me about my cat condition, and then went inside to speak with the doctor (not allowing me to speak with doc directly). She came back only to tell me that the doc "refuses to see your cat". It is the first and only time in my life when I hear those words, that a doc would refuse to see me without hearing me explain my situation. She cited diplomatic reasons such as, the doc feels uncomfortable and not confident to do it because he wasn't the one conducting the surgery, nor the one that took the stitches out. In other words, he refused to see my cat because it is an unfamiliar situation, even tho he didn't even give me the chance to explain the situation in more detail. I tried to convince the receptionist that it should be a simple procedure, citing the steps my Chinese vet suggested, but the girl said that they cannot do it because they don't even have anesthesia (how ridiculous!). The only solution they gave me before getting me out of their way is recommending an ophthalmologist 25 miles away. I was so disappointed and mad at them because they are the one who suggested me reschedule, only to reject me the second time I came. Not only did they delay the treatment of my cat, they also showed zero respect and empathy to me. They did everything "by the book" and turned a blind eye to how ridiculously inhumane the end-to-end experience is like. What I did in the end? I carried my cat walking in the sun to another hospital nearby that readily accepted her. I almost shedded tears of relief when I heard they are willing to treat her. My poor baby finally had some relief.
Oct 02, 2024 · Jane HuangGood place for your pet (pets). I have 3 and they take good care of them.If you really want to save money get there insurance, it's great and cover's everything except some medicine. You can't go wrong with it or with them. Very cordial, serious, staff. Check them out what do you have to loose except maybe your pet.
Apr 03, 2024 · Suzanne PooleWaited in line for over 35 minutes for an appointment I had scheduled just to be told it was too late to be seen. Supposedly I hadn’t been waiting and “they” had come to check “several” times (as if “they” would know who to look for as there were multiple people in line with carriers.) I suppose I wasn’t missing out on much considering the vet went back and forth with the customer in front of me on a plan of care for a pet that wasn’t even hers.
Jun 05, 2024 · Monique RobinsonMy cat has really bad allergies and I came home from school to find she pulled her hair out all on her back side my poor baby. I called Banfield to see if the could see us last minute and they were able to! They are my go to vet very friendly staff and I appreciate all their help. They know what they are talking about and I feel very confident in their work and care.❤️
Dec 07, 2023 · alexandria hohnConsistent issues - and no help at all. Something is severely wrong with this staff. Overdosing and over charging pets for vaccines and front desk never can answer questions or provide assistance.
Mar 15, 2025 · Darius HarrisReceptionist was extremely rude on the phone. I'm not sure what her problem was, but she was unpleasant.
