Banfield Pet Hospital

I'd love to know why your employees say that any and all appointments made online aren't seen by them, and won't be honored. This was all despite me having an appointment scheduled online, AND a confirmation email. I was literally told upon arrival that I "should have called to confirm the appointment" despite having a confirmation email. I'd give you 0 stars if I could. After speaking to the petsmart manager, sounds like she complains often, and you guys have blatantly told her you don't care.

One star is far too much for what these crooks deserve. I hope the someone reads this and is able to steer clear from this sorry excuse for an animal hospital. Today I had an appointment to put my best friend Buddah down, he’s been suffering from cancer for 2 years now and here I thought it would be a “easy” appointment. These guys tell me that now on top of the cost to put down my best friend I have to pay a physical fee and then later add on an X-Ray fee. They are trying to extort and press me for more money on one of the hardest days of my life. This Banfield is a horrible place to take your pets, they don’t care, all they care about is money. None of these fees were discussed prior to the appointment being made it was all sprung up on the day of. I’m glad that he wasn’t put down here please go and find somewhere that genuinely cares about animal or at the very least will be transparent up front. Don’t be taken advantage of from these people.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was the worst first vet experience ever. I dropped my 17-week-old kitten off because they told me on Saturdays they only do drop-off appointments. That was a lie. I dropped her off at 8:15 am and didn’t hear anything from them, even after calling four times from 10:30-11:05. Finally, I get a call back saying that my kitten was too stressed and they couldn’t do anything for her. I rush to pick her up so she isn’t there for much longer. I get there and pay by 11:52 (my receipt says). Then, Sue brings my kitten and says, "I don’t know what to do for you; she doesn’t want to be here," which upsets me. As soon as I get to the car, I take her out to love on her after being there for 3 1/2 hours. Immediately, I notice she has pee all over her, which instantly enrages me. Who knows if she had access to water or a litter box in the time I was gone? If I had gotten a response earlier, I would have been there. Let me tell you, it was the worst experience ever. They won’t return my phone calls so I can cancel her next appointment that I booked before I knew she was covered in pee. I am beyond angry and disappointed.

I am very happy with my dog's care at Banfield! He is enjoying life. 🙂

I think the vet who works there Jennifer hite bought her degree on eBay or something totally clueless can’t give a straight answer what the problem is with your pet “it can be this or it can be that we don’t know” 🤷🏻‍♀️ that’s all they tell you. Also they make you drop off your pet the whole day and call you at the end of the day to pick them up who knows if they actually provide the treatment once they are alone with the animals there or are just scamming people since you can’t see what they actually did. First and last time taking my kitten here. Simply put these people do not care about animals just there for the money
