Beware if you are anxious to get care for your loved pet. He was less than 2 yrs old. Answered a bunch of questions. They did bloodwork on my pet. Then said they needed to do a few x-rays $400 ×2. My pet only allowed 1 set of Xrays. The verdict was nothing can be found! A couple of prescriptions n a $1,500.00 plus bill later. Lets do a follow up in 1week. He seemed to be somewhat improving but not enough. Ended up taking my pet to an ER only 4 days later. They did extensive blood work. We found out it was too late. Patrons if you gonna take your pet to banfield have some type of insurance, further more take your pet elsewhere where they have better equipments to handle your emergency situation and less expensive. You may have to mortgage a house at Banefield.

This place is a cash cow. Additionally and more disturbingly, they would not approve my dog's renewal of HeartGuard without requiring yet another in-person visit. Why is this the ONLY vet I've ever encountered that doesnt just honor continuous prescriptions/coverage of HeartGuard? I'm not able to bring my dog in for 6 weeks and now the medication is going to lapse just creating additional risk. AVOID THIS PLACE...I CAN'T WAIT TO FIND A NEW VET.

The customer service was great, but the service itself on my dog was completely ruined. My dog had a cone to prevent him from excess licking, and he had it for about 3wks. My dog is a Bernedoodle, so this messed his hair up around his neck tremendously. I took him to get groomed, but unfortunately his hair was too matted around his neck for their clippers and I had to take him to Banfield. They offered to do a cleaning in addition to the clipping around his neck, and went over all the pricing with me. I was very specific that I only wanted his neck taken care of so I can take him to be professionally groomed, as they made it clear they do not have the skills or capabilities of a professional groomer. I mentioned this on the day of our consultation, as well as the day of our actual appointment. “I only want his neck shaved so I can take him to the groomer and get him professionally trimmed everywhere else and bathed”. The lady told me she would have the vet doing the procedure call me so there would be no miscommunication. The vet called me and I asked her if he would be bald around his neck, and she said she would do her best to keep as much hair but due to the severity of his matting, she couldn’t make any promises. I told her I totally understand and I reiterated just the neck. She said ok. I went and picked up my dog, and my dog looks absolutely terrible. They did not follow my instructions, they shaved him everywhere. You can see their horrendous lack of skill in the grooming department. In addition to that, my dog wreaks of urine, leading me to believe he’s been locked in a cage and peeing all over himself all day. This is what he smells like. If you ever need your animal to be groomed by a vet, DO NOT GO HERE! They do not listen to what you want, and they will make your baby look absolutely horrible.

This is the place for health certificate for your pet .I especially want to praise Tara the assistant and Dr Nichols. Tara who went out of her way to help me make an appointment for a flight with my dog ​​at the last minute, she immediately asked for relevant documents to facilitate the process and indeed several days before the flight I had an appointment with Dr. Nicholas who on that day filled out the relevant forms so that I would be ready in time for the flight. She answered every question by email since there was time pressure and reassured me all the time that I would be able to get the certificate for the flight on time and indeed it happened. Plus I paid $159 less than anywhere else. Outstanding service
