I can't say enough great things about Banfield! The staff at this location is incredibly attentive, kind, and truly listens to concerns. They went above and beyond to care for my two pets, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. One of my dogs was pretty sick, and they were able to fit her in last minute—I’m so appreciative of that! Their compassion and professionalism made all the difference. I highly recommend this Banfield location to anyone looking for exceptional pet care. Once I remember the names of the amazing team members who helped us, I’ll be sure to update my review!

They do not care about your pet, only your money. The customer service here is so poor, they make the Department of Motor Vehicles seem like the Ritz Carlton. They are always running behind schedule but don't have the courtesy to tell you in advance. I have wasted hours there over the years and I'm done. There are far better options for vet services in Northern Virginia. Don't waste your money and your time here. The staff are extremely rude and the “nurse” on duty was completely condescending. This place is strictly profit before care and should be avoided at all costs.

I had a horrendous experience today. My appointment was at 11:45 AM for a comprehensive exam as well as some stomach concerns for my dog. Initially, they quote me for an hour and a half. Sure, that’s fine. Two hours roll around with no words being said to me, i had to call and check in. Again, I have to wait even longer “due to influx of people because of impending snow storm”. How is this the case when I set my appointment prior to and came before all of them? But it doesn’t end here. Around 330 I finally get a phone call from some nurse to update me on his status and he states that they will probably be done around 430. sounds good, i’ll be expecting a call around them as they ALWAYS do when the dog is ready. no call was ever given. instead at 5, the same nurse rudely calls me asking me when i was coming because they were about to close. i attempt politely try to explain that nobody informed me he was ready like they usually do. they’ve been pushing it all day long so i wasn’t sure 430 was the exact time of pick up. he kept cutting me off and claims that he said 4 was the set pick up time (mind you, he initially said 430 on the first call). At this point yall wasted my entire day and i got stuck in an unsafe snow storm and he had the audacity to be extremely disrespectful over the phone. I demand answers. I only even paid so that i could get out of that snow storm asap (WHICH DIDNT WORK BTW!). I will be posting the snow that yall got me stuck in! I did a morning appointment for a reason and nobody cared!

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!! DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!! Banfield Falls Church continues to scam us and they put our dog's health in jeopardy, and in my opinion it’s borderline malpractice! For our teeth cleaning last year, we had elevated liver enzymes and treated it; but no teeth cleaning, then during our comprehensive exam we miraculously got a clean bill of health and the vet told us to make a teeth cleaning appointment for two weeks after the exam, and guess what? Elevated liver enzymes just two weeks with no changes in anything diet or otherwise. And, again no teeth cleaning. The heartless vet just called and said when is the soonest you can pick up your dog. Seriously? You told us to make the appt to clean his teeth!! And then you double charged us for zero treatment. And charged us for a teeth cleaning that we didn’t get! Twice!! At best, this vet is inept and incompetent; and at worst she is negligent and missed a significant finding in our "comprehensive" exam. We are leaving and going to a new vet.,a real vet… Not a big box “vet” just out to make the company more money. That is all they are about. Charge you, do the laziest least amount of care/treatment possible. This place is a scam. And how about how rude these people are. You’d think with all the money they are charging they’d be happier. Also, beware of paperwork!!! They will tell you you are signing one thing, but what's actually written is different. If you do go here at your own peril, just make sure you read every word before you sign, and wow, read these other reviews, we are not the only ones dealing with their incompetence. When people show you who they are, believe them. Zero trust. Zero care for your dog/cat. Zero stars. PSA: you’ll pay about the same amount for your local vet that really cares about you and cares about your pet. Support your local vet not Banfield. And Banfield, don’t bother responding to this with your worthless, insincere, fake lies. Save your breath.

They are heartless and never answer the phones. My dog had to be put down and it took them 2 days to call me back. They will not cancel my contract even though my dog passed. When I called corporate I was coldly told I should read the contract. I will have to have a painful reminder every month of my beloved dog passing. Screw this corporate pet care. They are really run by lawyers and accountants. They added to my pain and I will never forgive them.
