Banfield Pet Hospital

My dog has the Wellness Plan here. I have plenty of positive experiences here, but I want to share our experience yesterday. If you have a dog who needs more help with Nail Trims than you can do on your own, call on this Mason, Ohio location. They helped with prescription calming medicine and took great care of my Diego. Payton is usually on duty when I call in, and Danielle was our technician. She said Diego was "a dream." My dog? WOW. Major kudos to them.

Banfield vet in Mason is the best. I came across them by accident when I got my new puppy 6 weeks ago and it has been a blessing. The entire staff and doctors are fantastic and I recommend them and their care plan. Duke and I couldn’t be happier.

I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of adequate care my dog received today at the Banfield Pet Hopsital in Mason, OH. My dog, Major, was dropped off today for a standard comprehensive exam. When we received Major back this afternoon his butt and back of his legs were covered in poop as if he sat in his own poop for hours. Some was matted into his hair. This is absolutely unacceptable and we will not be bringing our pets back to this Banfield.

Horrible Service and inflated billing. I was looking for a vet for my rescue  dog. I purchased one of the preventative plans for his shots and dental last year. Several months later, the doctor and I agreed my dog should get his teeth cleaned twice a year so my monthly cost increased to add this to his plan. Today, I was told I would have to increase my monthly cost AGAIN for the cleaning. I decided to cancel since we are a few days away from it being a year since purchasing the plan. The staff person said I couldn't cancel until next year and that I was under a signed contract renewing the plan. Thank goodness I asked for a copy and found the contract I signed expires in a couple of days. I brought it to her attention. Instead of accepting her mistake, she argued that I am under contract and that I "should have" signed the renewal contract. Seriously! When asked to cancel my plan to ensure it does not renew or charge me,  she said she couldn't. She refused to ask for help and finally got so upset that I was asking questions, she walked off, went into the back and never returned to help me.

Banfield Vet and the PetsHotel team at Mason Petsmart was phenomenal. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care they provided to my recent rescue Bernadoodle during his recent stay. Your expertise and compassionate approach made a world of difference, and I am truly thankful. 

From the moment we stepped into the Pet Hotel, the warmth and professionalism of the staff were amazing. What stood out the most was Dr Hunter (vet) remarkable skill with handling of my anxious dog. His ability to explain the treatment in a clear and concise manner gave me confidence in the care Cooper was receiving, especially since I was out of town. Thanks to your dedicated service, my dog's health has improved significantly, and he returned home happy and well-adjusted. The peace of mind you provided is invaluable, and I cannot recommend your services highly enough.

I look forward to entrusting my pet to your care in the future and will certainly recommend the Pet Hotel compassionate care for their pets.

Had to take my boy to the vet today. He’s 14 yrs old so taking him to the vet can be extremely scary at his age. Shannon at the front desk was absolutely amazing!!!! She made me feel so comfortable with Bentley being there today. She eased my mind so I didn’t have to worry for hours while he was there. She was so kind and so helpful. I don’t think she realizes how much she did for me today! I was so worried! I didn’t worry at all today while he was there and it was all because of her and her kindness to just take a few minutes to reassure me he was gonna be ok. Thank you Shannon! She’s amazing!
