Banfield Pet Hospital in Plantation is a godsend. We lost our cat on 12/9/24 and my dog Doger on 12/16/24. Dr. D and the entire staff were amazing to my family and I during the hardest time imaginable. My cat and dog of 15 years who were never patients before hand were treated like royalty when it came to their end of life care and I can’t thank them enough. Would recommend to anyone in need of care for their furry loved ones without hesitation a million times over. Thank you again to Dr. D and the entire staff at Banfield Pet Hospital in Plantation.

I feel so comfortable taking Suki to Banfield! I know she’s getting the best treatment and they show her so much love! I highly recommend Banfield.

I dropped off my dog at 8:00 am for a scheduled teeth cleaning procedure. At noon, I contacted the office and was informed that everything was proceeding smoothly with my dog's appointment and that he would be attended to within the next 45 minutes. However, to my surprise and dismay, I received a call nearly at 4:00 pm, stating that due to an unexpected influx of patients, my dog would not be seen as initially promised. This prolonged delay caused considerable concern for me, as my dog spent the entire day at your facility without access to food, water, or an opportunity to relieve himself. It is disheartening to feel that my beloved pet, whom I entrusted to your care, was treated merely as a number in order to generate revenue. I request that you review your scheduling and communication protocols to ensure that similar situations are avoided in the future. Pets entrusted to your care deserve to be treated with the utmost consideration and respect.

Please DO NOT take your pet here. I beg you. They will mistreat and hurt your pet. I brought my healthy dog in for a dental cleaning and left with a weak, bruised dog, now missing 4 teeth. My dog has always had healthy gums and teeth and now 4 are missing??? They had someone UNLICENSED working on our dog, yes unlicensed, and without supervision from a doctor. And they do not disclose that. I know this because when we saw the condition of our dog when we picked her up we called the police to report animal abuse. When police arrived they asked to speak to a doctor and manager and no one came out. Only a nurse, student, and front desk lady. NO DOCTOR SUPERVISION AND THEY HAVE STUDENTS THAT ARE INEXPERIENCED AND UNLICENSED WORKING ON YOUR DOG. Please stay away and keep your pets safe. Reporting to Banfield website, veterinarian licensing division, filing a police report and have already talked to a lawyer about suing. Unacceptable. This also isn’t the first time something like this has happened. I’m inserting photos from a previous Banfield ABUSE as well.
