The staff was very helpful and super nice. Vet tech Jocelyn is amazing! 🤩 She explained exactly what I needed to know and answered all of my questions with kindness and patience. I left Madden with her knowing he was in great hands. I would love for her to help Madden again!

I can't say enough good things about Banfield Pet Hospital and the wonderful care they provide for my dogs, Lucy and Milo. The staff truly loves my pets and it shows in everything they do. From the moment we walk in, Lucy and Milo are greeted with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. The veterinarians and support staff are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. They take the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain treatment options, and ensure that Lucy and Milo receive the best possible care. Whether it's a routine check-up or an unexpected health issue, I always feel confident that my dogs are in good hands. Banfield Pet Hospital goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and stress-free environment for both pets and owners. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care.

I am so confused by the five star reviews. Our experience at this Banfield clinic, and quite frankly any Banfield clinic within the Phoenix Scottsdale Metro area, has been inconsistent and nearly impossible to schedule an office visit for our pet cat. Typically, the only appointments available 3 weeks out, at the time of calling, throughout the last year and a half, is drop off appointments only. That's pretty insane for routine checkups and cares. Especially for pets who get anxious in clinical settings. There is no reason to force my pet to be there from 7:00/8:00 a.m. to 2:00/3:00 p.m. when the appointment takes less than 30 minutes. I understand that Banfield is struggling to maintain vet staff at each location and uses traveling vets to meet demands at unstaffed clinics. Strategically it makes sense to have all pet clients in the facility around the same time to maximize productivity, however, you cannot deny that it is likely not in the best interests of the pets to operate this way. It is very evident that Banfield is like any other giant corporation, that will take your money via health and wellness plans, but then fail to deliver adequate options and care to actually utilize the plan benefits that they are selling. Also, when I tried to cancel the plan, it is an annual plan that is billed monthly. So you will either pay for the services or for the remainder of the plan at the time of cancellation. When I bring my cat to the ER, and they say to follow up with my primary vet in 48 hours, I obviously know that that it won't be with Banfield. We live right around the corner and we are never able to get anything near a same-day appointment nor an actual office visit, and are always met with drop off appointment availabilities only, for weeks out at a time. Yet I read reviews of other customers getting same-day appointments, yet live over 40 miles away. What gives Bandfield? Luckily, four-legged friends pet hospital is just down the road, locally owned and operated, and actually answers their phones timely and has availability that is much more reasonable than what. Banfield has been offering us in the last year and a half. It is very disappointing, especially since the vets that my spouse and I have met at Banfield, travel or not, have been great. Sometimes they could be a bit vague in their advice, but nonetheless pleasant. Front desk staff is more consistent, however they typically seem overworked, understaffed, and at times unavailable for any type of pleasantries and assistance to purchase supplies. I hope Banfield will find a better way to move forward, but we know how large corporations operate. And unfortunately, I feel like this Banfield location and so many others in the Metro area suffer from a lack of support to adequately staff and equip their clinics In order to provide a quality experience.

Despite all the negative reviews, we had a good experience at this location. It was the only Banfield Pet Hospital that would make an in office visit on a weekend, so we didn't have to miss work. We got in on time, and the staff was pleasant. The only disappointment was driving all the way across the valley 41 miles.

Horrible experience. We initially went in for a rabies shot that was due for our dog (almost 2 years old). We also discussed her allergy problem. They gave the rabies shot & charged for an exam. 2 days later we went in for this “allergy” shot that had been recommended 2 days prior and they charged an additional exam fee $70. Day after the shot our dog had severe bloody diarrhea and vomiting (this lasted 72 hours). The shot did not improve her skin allergies. After looking up the “allergy” shot it turns out it’s a repurposed chemotherapy medication for “allergies” with some pretty terrible side effects. On both visits we saw a “traveling vet” bc they don’t have their own staff and neither of them mentioned any precautions or possible side effects. We spent $300 on the 2 visits combined and are now still dealing with the allergies and still trying to recover the GI side effects of the shot.
