Aug 28, 2024 · Maria FThey truly love what they do and want to he best for you pets. We have a cat who is admittedly overweight, the team and Banfield have gone out if their way to help us find the right food and plan to help get our pets weight down.
Nov 14, 2024 · Joshua HallThe receptionists at the desk were not professional. I arrived 10-15 minutes earlier and had to wait to check in and then wait for a room. (I could’ve been checked in and the that extra time, would’ve been for waiting on a room.) When I went back to check in after waiting a few more minutes…not one of the receptionists acknowledged that I was there and carried on with personal conversations. That is extremely rude and makes the patient feel less of value and not important/cared for. A simple hi how are you, hi we’ll be right with you would’ve been more than enough to at least feel seen. It happened a few times going to this winter garden location. Not only was the arrival there disappointing but as I was waiting in the room waiting for my puppy. I heard a tech yell at a dog. People leave their fur babies here to be treated with kindness, respect and care. NO ONE should be yelling or mistreating an animal. Poor thing is left in a crate and I’m sure isn’t feeling well or just flat out scared. Who likes to be at a doctor’s office? Who goes to a doctor’s appointment and not feel scared or anxious of results? Granted us, we have a voice, but our pets do not. We are there voice and that’s why I’m saying this!!! I am infuriated by this! That is unacceptable and should not be tolerated! Going to banfield trusting that they will be cared for and loved and this is what I experienced. Absolutely horrendous! If you don’t care for animals or have the passion…find another job that you do have passion for. I’ll be damned if something happened to my dog under your care!
Jun 04, 2024 · BellaI quite possibly do not think that I’ve had a better vet experience than Banfield Pet Hospital in Winter Garden. To start off, the vet tech (I’m so mad I cannot remember her name right now, but I’ll be sure to update when I do) was so kind. I enrolled in the OWP plan and today was my first appointment, and the vet tech explained everything to me and even listened to all of the concerns I had with my cat, and ensured me that she was happy to answer any questions when I apologized for having so many. She alone made me feel like I was making the right choice in taking my cat here. Then, the process is so easy. They explain right there everything they are going to do, and I was able to drop my cat off and head home to get some other things done. Once my cat was ready, the same vet tech called and explained everything in full detail, as well as future plans. When I came to pick up my cat, I got to speak to the vet, Eileen Shaw, and I am not kidding, I have not spoken to a kinder doctor in any variation, for pet or human. She was SO detailed in what she was telling me as far as the test results for my pet. Additionally, she took the time to answer all of my questions and I even apologized because naturally I just have a lot of questions and I knew they were so busy, but I felt so ensured that she was happy to answer anything and everything, even going as far as writing down a food schedule for my cat, including my cat’s goal weight and amount of calories she needs per day. I am so thankful for all of the staff because everyone I encountered was kind and caring. Even while I was in the room waiting for my cat, I heard Dr. Shaw talking to my cat and was being so sweet to her. I loved this experience and am hoping every experience is like this because I do not want to take my cat to another vet due to the way these staff members were so kind, caring, and informative. Thank you all for absolutely everything! Ari thanks you all as well!
Mar 04, 2023 · Travis VickIf zero stars was an option, they’d be getting it. The vets here are beyond negligent and so are the vet techs. Even the administration seems incompetent. After they murdered my sisters dog, they still charge her a monthly fee. This was entirely avoidable. This was completely traumatic because the vets didn’t have the foresight to try less invasive ways of medical care. They neglected to put a heart rate monitor on poor Sully until after he passed. I truly hope nobody ever has to go through the tragedy our family did with this vet. They have agreed to waive the fee but they will not just close the account. The vet should lose their license and this specific location should close.
