Banfield Pet Hospital

I brought my dog Marley in because she was sick, and we visited several times in what ended up being her final days, as challenging as the situation was, I am so grateful to Patrick and Dr. Williams for their kindness and compassion. When we carried her in, the look on Patrick's face immediately told me that he was going to take the absolute best care of her that he could, and he was incredibly patient as I spoke to him while sobbing. When it came time to make a difficult decision, Dr. Williams talked the whole thing through with me, and counseled me on what would be the kindest and best option for Marley. I will always look back on this is one of the most challenging things I've ever had to do, but I'll never forget the compassion and support they gave me through it.

Adriana and Jody provided horrible customer service. They denied to refill my pets heartworm medication despite being a prescribed by a Banfield location. They even found his records and denied him. This is a location I would not recommend bringing your pet. If I could have given zero stars I would have.

Banfield offers an economic way to keep your pet healthy and up to date on vaccines without having to pay a huge amount at once. They are very thorough with our pets and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Need negative stars! I lost my sweet fur baby to this careless place! They DO NOT treat senior pets any different to young healthy animals. I brought my 17yo cat here with sneezing concerns, they gave her an additional rabies shot even though they were told at my previous visit that she had a 3yr shot a few months earlier, her tags were visible on the front of her carrier. They gave her another shot which they claimed would help prevent her getting sick/cold… which sent her old body into renal failure( the emergency hospital I took her too did actual blood and urine work which was clearly not done by Banfield- if it was no one cared to review it before shooting her up with unnecessary vaccines). When I called concerned because she stopped eating and was peeing on herself I was told “sorry we’re fully booked you can call another Banfield for vet hospital” which they couldn’t point me in a direction I was told to Google it. Within 3 days of that last shot she had a seizure and died in my arms. I absolutely DESPISE this place! I failed my baby by trusting her with Monsters! They should be shut down!

Honestly, I have heard mixed reviews, but I’ve had nothing but the best experience so far. I’m a new dog mom and everything scares me. The ladies have been so pleasant and the Altamonte location. Thank you to Gwen for always answering my hundred questions no matter how many times I call for something lol pebbles is definitely happy.
