Very rude! Receptionists (South Loop location, not all) Major concerns about my dog. Assuming he'd be able to come in as soon as possible. Only to be told the next sick appointment is a week from today. Or I can call other Banfield sites to see if there's a faster appointment. Or I can take him to an emergency hospital. Yet he's insured here! I love my pet like a human. It is only right I he receives the best care! Vet chat doesn't work whenever I try it. No connection! Currently looking for a new veterinarian..

The staff at the reception is just the most friendly and nice you can find. The nurses are true animal lovers. You don’t get to talk to the doctor on drop off appointments but your pet’s health concerns get addressed and the nurses communicate the doctors recommendations.

My pup had to go in for a dental cleaning and the second comprehensive visit. He is a bit of a handful when other dogs are around Banfield employees made sure we were the only one in the office at drop off and pick up. My baby is home safe and sound.

I have been using Banfield for 6 years, but have only recently visited the South Loop location with my 2 cats and 1 dog. They have been great with my old dog and have really helped his arthritis. Recently, they diagnosed Central Diabetes Insipidus (rarer and has nothing to do with sugar) and treatment is going well. My kitties are younger, but one of them was born with "special needs" and they took extra time to make sure nothing was missed.

My dog (6 yoe), perfectly healthy and brushes teeth every night, lost 5 teeth during the cleaning process. They didn’t call me when it happened and I could’ve stopped them. He cried his eyes out when I picked him up. That really broken my heart. Won’t come back!!
