Banfield Pet Hospital

I've been using this location with my dog Scout since I first got him almost 8 years ago. I've always been happy with the service and the general friendliness of the team there. And they've always been great with helping me & Scout with various issues as they've come up.

When I first signed up my pets with Banfield, the service was good especially with Dr. Soler, but, after he left this location and COVID happened everything went south. I have called to schedule appts and have been placed on very long holds, when I do get an appt scheduled its always a drop-off option. I have scheduled appt for 8:30am, I have arrived early to drop off my dog and I still have to wait another 30 mins to leave the dog there. The vet never gets on the phone you are called by the assistance. The last visit I had for my dog while I was talking to the front desk, she kept interrupting me, so she can take calls, and I would have to repeat myself over and over, the heart worm never arrived at my house even though I never requested to have this mailed, but I was charged ahead of time. When I called to find out what happened I was left on eternal hold 3 times. When I addressed a behavior concern with my dog to the vet, his response was to record a video of this. I googled it instead and found the probable cause of it. After all of the above, I canceled one of the plans for my other dog and now I am going to do the same for the one left.

I took my 8 month old Yorkie to get looked at by a vet. He woke up with his eye a little watery and he was unable to open it all the way. He was seen by the vet and was told he had an ulcer, I'm not really knowledgeable about ulcer's on a dog's eye. He never told me and provided me with a bunch of meds, advised me if he is not better in a week, I will have to take him to a specialist. The cost will be crazy and he left. I never saw the vet again. After left for several hours, his assistant or tech came to me with the meds. I asked the tech to advise me how this occurred, since the vet was too busy to answer any questions I had. I left the vet's office distraught and not happy with the bedside manners this veterinary had towards his patients and their family.

I have been about sixteen years taking my dogs to Banfield and its Service is very good.

Everyone at Banfield was wonderful. This visit was a difficult one-my oldest dog 16 year old was not eating, drinking, and breathing heavy. He was suffering and all the staff at Banfield helped my husband and me make a decision to make him comfortable. Thank you
