Carballo Animal Clinic

Awful experience. After bringing my Yorkie Benji, here for over 3 years, today Doctor Carballo entered the room unannounced went to pet my dog and my dog barked loudly yet never bit nor has ever bitten anyone. The Doctor assumed I knew the dog would jump and bark loudly, and said I would be liable for any harm my dog would cause. Mind you this doctor has never cared for my dog, the other doctor Diaz has, and my dog has never had a negative interaction. Carballo spoke in a loud tone, said he was not an animal tamer, that he was a doctor. I am aware that I am liable for any danger or harm my dog causes, yet he did not cause any harm. Doctor Carballo’s tone and attitude was uncalled for because he deals with animals, a bite or any reaction from an animal is an inherent risk he has assumed given his profession. Doctor Carballo made me feel extremely uncomfortable, there is no need to spend money at a place that the owner feels entitled to treat clients in such a grotesque manner. The Doctor’s assistant felt extremely uncomfortable with the Doctor’s reaction, even asked me if I wanted to terminate the visit at that time. In conclusion of the visit, the doctor said he was sorry, but the bad experience I had just undergone was unbearable. Nothing else was done to amend the situation. If you want to experience an easy going vet visit and a welcoming Doctor, don’t you ever go to Doctor Carballo.

We took our dog Pepper for an opinion recommended by our primary Dr. Perez because our dog had been limping. Dr. Dominguez saw him and he diagnosed him even before the x-rays. He recommended surgery of the knee and we decided to do surgery on the same day. Our experience was very pleasant. Doctors and personnel were very helpful and understanding. We felt confident when we left him. I recommend this clinic and the staff. We are very grateful to God and to them that our Pepper is feeling much better and recuperating well.

Fantastic folks. Everyone is caring and helpful, and the doctor is very patient and knowledgeable. I ask a million questions, sometimes twice, and he is always cordial and detailed. I am very happy with the care these folks have provided my fur baby.
