Backwoods Trail Veterinary

Prices are very reasonable in this office compared to the outrageous prices every where else. This vet is old-fashioned, and actually takes the time to tell you what's going on in simple terms and takes his time with your pet. You never feel rushed even though he constantly has people waiting- and for a good reason. The staff is wonderful also!

Doc has been my dogs' vet since I moved to Florida 13 years ago; he and his staff are superb in every way: every dog is important to them. Doc has a way with dogs that calms even my most anxious dogs and calms me when I am there because I know he'll do whatever he can to help my fur babies.. His staff is always courteous and helpful. All of them, Doc, Linda, Emma, and Kyle--small staff for a very, very busy practice--go out of their way to help. If I could give them 20 points out of ten, I would!

Everyone was friendly. Fees were extremely reasonable. I just moved into the area and was looking for a new vet, and I now have found him.

We had our boy for 13 or, 14 years Dr Burba was our vet for the whole course of Knuckles life never would trust any other vet he took such good care of him everytime we brought him in. Recently we had to let Dr Burba end Knuckles suffering, he checked him over well and, we know if Dr Burba could have done anything to not have to do that, he would have. Ultimately it was old age and, nothing could be done as Knuckles could no longer walk. Never had a better more caring vet both he and, his staff are all amazing caring people he never makes the desision lightly when he has to do the thing noone wants to have to do for their pet. I know he was just as upset as we were and, still are. I will be bringing my dads dog there soon as I had told him about Backwoods trails and, the expert level of care and, compassion of the people who run it. I know Dr Burba will help his dog like he helped Knuckles.

Florida native that has lived in Paisley, lake county since 2003 and Backwoods has always been such a blessing! You cant find a better Vet and staff! They're the best!
