Been here atleast 7 times total because my dog had puppies last year and they’ve all gotten their shots and checkups here. Never an issue, until today. My dog had been vomiting and we suspected she ate something. We had an appt at 4, and arrived early. Dr. Forester came in saying our dog was in heat, and I asked if that caused vomiting? She laughed and didn’t answer my question. From that moment on she was rolling her eyes, scoffing whenever I asked questions, answering my questions like if I was a kid and treating me like a bother. She mentioned an X-ray and I asked how much extra that would cost and she said $150. I said I needed to ask my husband and she made a face then tapped her wrist and said “well time’s ticking”. Throughout the 5 minutes total we saw her, she mentioned they were fixing to close soon, time was ticking, “next time bring her in in the morning don’t wait til 4pm” and that they all had worked long days and wanted to go home. She talked more like how much of a bother it was we were there than what was wrong with my dog. She mentioned treating her symptomatically but that they were only open half a day tomorrow. I said “what’s that?” And she said “ we’re. Only. Open. Until. 12. “ I said no what’s treating her symptomatically? And she sighed. I paid $90 to sit there and get scolded for “letting my dog eat something” and get even more confused about what was wrong with her. Dr. Forester was so rude. They just lost a regular customer. I seriously can’t believe someone thinks it’s okay to talk to their patients like that.

We were provided great professional and compassionate support at a very difficult time for us. Frank was with us for nineteen years and we will miss him. Our home feels empty without Frank.

My 6 year old rottweiler Molly was suffering with a skin infection for 4 weeks, losing lots of hair and having lots of scabs and smelled terrible and was not getting any better with my regular veterinarian. I made an emergency appointment with this veterinarian and within 2 weeks she started getting better with a regimen of antibiotics and other medicine. She's been diagnosed with a bad thyroid and is getting much better although we're struggling with her ear infection still. Thank you for saving my baby girl.

If you have a sick cat there is no better place to take your baby than to Dr. Leland. As we millennials say, I would die 4 her lol. My cat has had the worst luck with vets that were either not as experienced with cats as Dr. Leland is or didn’t seem to care to actually investigate my cats issues truly unless she was gasping for air or at death’s door. Tiger is barely 6 pounds and has had chronic lung issues for years. 3 vets and 3 years of searching for someone who truly cared enough to actually try and save my cat and not let her condition continue to worsen with no hope. She is extremely thorough, constantly adding to her repertoire of knowledge on feline diseases, caring, thoughtful, and amazing at what she does. I really cannot write enough about her. She called me after reading a new book specifically about my cats symptoms from a local feline expert and we now have about 5 new things to try that not a single other vet ever once mentioned. And things I can do in her day to day environment as well to try to aid those more medically based things we’ll be attempting. She’s a very special vet and if you’re a smart cat owner you will take your baby to her.
