I took my ringneck dove in for a checkup, and the staff was fantastic! Everyone was knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. Dr. Torres took great care of my bird, and he made a full recovery quickly. I'll definitely be back with my other pets!

I was planning to take my Indian Ringneck here, but after reading the reviews, I'm having second thoughts. I've seen comments about horrible service, mistreatment of birds, a rude doctor, and prioritizing money over animal welfare. I'll be taking my bird elsewhere.

I found a baby squirrel and needed help. The staff here was amazing! They provided support and information, and even helped me find a nearby wildlife rehabilitation center that could take care of the squirrel. I'm so grateful for their help!

The staff at Avian & Exotic Animal Medical Center is extremely professional and caring. Dr. Torres did a great job explaining my turtle Duke's condition and gave me detailed instructions on how to care for him. Highly recommend!

They don't have emergency visits and their automated system referred me to another automated system where I was able to leave a voicemail. When they finally called me back from that referred place, they sent me to the Pinecrest Pet emergency place. I called them and they said they do not have the machinery to do blood work on Birds. Well, my bird was vomiting and lethargic, so I'm sure she needed blood work so I ended up calling the next place which was the only place that was open for emergency care for birds up near West Palm Beach. I live in Miami. Our bird had a seizure and died when we were making a U-turn to get into the parking lot of the Vet location. We are devastated. I Honestly Believe that if they had after hours, they could have saved my bird. She was a major part of our family and we are devastated. I just want to add that this has nothing to do with Dr. Harris, he had taken care of our other birds that we've had in the past as well as a bearded dragon and he's very knowledgeable and an amazing all-around person. But unfortunately, he's not in the office all the time and he sees mostly animals at the zoo and jungle Island. I'm very devastated and I honestly believe if there was a place here in Miami that had emergency vets with experience in avian veterinary medicine, my bird would still be alive today. I'm so sad.
