The entire staff here are incredibly patient and kind. Our cat kinda freaked out on the vet and he was incredibly calm. Explained to us the issues our cat had in an easy to understand way. The people at the front desk were also knowledgeable and professional. The giant orange cat wandering around is just a bonus

So great! My dog, Radar, is a regular patient here but they squeezed him in immediately after he cut his foot. The vet and staff were great with him. He is easily one of the wildest one-year old golden retrievers ever and they just love on him! Thanks Animal Medical Clinic. Radar loves you guys. Dr. Snyder did answer all questions I had. Radar is a college dog, and that means that his environment (from walks through campus, college housing, etc) can lead a cut like his to infection. Dr. Snyder has cleaned the wound and bandaged it but also started Radar on antibiotics and explained this was because he also had a concern for infection.

I tried them initially because of their location being 10 minutes from my house. My dog, who is a little granny, has dementia and great anxiety in the car. It's become an awful experience getting her to her regular vet for the reasons above. We saw Dr. Barker and he was so good with my dog. Also, so informative. Really happy and we will be back.

Dr. Sidner and his team have taken great care of my Netherland dwarf rabbit. It’s difficult to find competent and educated rabbit-savvy vets and can be stressful as owners knowing our companions are not the standard cat or dog. Multiple times my rabbit has needed care and received top tier, reliable, fast, and fairly priced services. Dr. Sidner educates his patients to provide further care and genuinely cares about our pets. I highly recommend this office to all Athens and surrounding area rabbit owners. (I also imagine his quality of care translates to every other species.).

If you care about the well being of your animals, don’t take them here! They don’t listen to you when you are explaining what is going on and dismiss your concerns. My dog was getting worse by the day. We took her to a new vet and miraculously she is doing so much better!! This office was more concerned about milking me for money for testing rather than taking care of my sweet girl. They got it in their heads that they “knew” what she had and was trying to confirm with testing. She did NOT have it and would have likely died if we didnt do something different. We were already scheduled to see the new vet when Sidner called four days AFTER getting the results to actually call us to let us know. The other vet had already called with the results. He probably just wanted to get more test money out of us. Which if it would have helped we would have gladly paid. We have been patients there for over 12 years and will never be back!! The office manager Christy is hit and miss on the nice scale. You never know what you’ll get with her. She is either super nice or super cold! When we boarded with them they did not make sure my other dog was taking his medications. I could tell when we returned and his symptoms for taking the meds were returning. The compassion and care for taking care of my animals were completely lacking! The only person I will truely miss is Sonia!

They have taken care of our dogs and cats for over 20 years. The doctors always listen and give us honest answers to our questions. If we don't understand something or we want more detail, we know we can call and someone will return our call promptly. We have also boarded our dogs here on occasion and we trust them. I highly recommend this animal clinic and their entire staff.
