Started using At Home Vet in May of 2021. That initial visit for check-ups with my two crazy cats went very well. One of them, Judy, was impossible to get into a pet carrier. I decided to try a home visit. Dr. Persson and her vet tech came to the home and were absolutely great at keeping them and myself calm while giving them their check ups and shots. She even clipped their nails. The cats a little later in that year also saw Dr. Gransky for let’s say some “behavioral issues” (crazy cat fighting). He was fantastic and had some good suggestions which I implemented and luckily things quieted down. Sadly, after losing my other cat Max to a saddle thrombus a year ago, it was time for Judy’s distemper and a long put off check-up. I was also worried because of a lump I found on her belly and was hoping to get that looked at quickly. The office was able to get me in within a week (4/10/25) and with Dr. Persson again! She and her vet tech were efficient, compassionate and professional, which was definitely needed since after the check-up, we had to get a sample of the lump on a wiggly Judy belly. I really appreciated Dr. Pearson’s perseverance and patience as it took a few tries to get a sample. Good thing it was successful. Turns out, sadly, Judy has a sarcoma. So Dr. Persson gave me some oncologist referrals and I went with Angell. The AHV sent them the medical records after the decision. I did have to follow up with the office a few times to keep things rolling, but all in all, pretty quick service. The only bummer is Angell can not see Judy until 5/5/25. That seems like a while (almost 3 weeks) when a tumor is growing 😕 but AHV were great! Hoping to have a good outcome here.

Welcome to At Home Veterinary
At Home Veterinary, located with an administrative base at 2 Summer St # 300, Natick, MA 01760, USA, offers a distinctive and highly valued model within the "Pet Hospital" category: the **veterinary house call service**. This approach moves away from the traditional clinic setting, instead bringing comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care directly to the comfort and familiarity of a pet's home. This unique service is particularly beneficial for pet owners with anxious animals, multiple pets, or those facing mobility challenges, transforming the veterinary experience into a more relaxed and personalized event.
The "environment" of At Home Veterinary services is primarily the **pet's own home**. This inherently reduces stress for animals that might otherwise experience fear, anxiety, or stress (FAS) associated with car rides, waiting rooms, or unfamiliar clinic smells and sounds. As one grateful client noted, it's "essential for the one who is so anxious that he gets heart murmurs when leaving the house." The veterinary team, consisting of a veterinarian and a vet tech, adapts to the home environment, working efficiently and compassionately within the familiar surroundings. This allows for a more calm and controlled examination, making it easier to administer treatments, even for "crazy cats" who are "impossible to get into a pet carrier." The convenience extends to the owner, as there's no travel time, waiting in a busy clinic, or managing multiple pets outside the home.
At Home Veterinary offers a wide range of services comparable to those found in a traditional "Pet Hospital," all delivered with the added benefit of an in-home setting. Their core services include **routine check-ups and preventative care**, such as physical examinations, vaccinations (e.g., distemper shots for puppies), and nail trims, as demonstrated by Dr. Persson and her tech. They also address various **medical concerns**, including diagnosis of lumps and other health issues, and provide appropriate recommendations, even extending to referrals to specialists like oncologists when necessary. The hospital is capable of handling sample collection, such as biopsies from a "wiggly Judy belly," showcasing their perseverance and professional approach even in challenging situations. Beyond physical health, they offer **behavioral consultations**, with Dr. Gransky specifically praised for providing "good suggestions" for "crazy cat fighting," leading to positive outcomes. While intensive surgeries or emergency critical care requiring specialized equipment are typically referred to brick-and-mortar hospitals, At Home Veterinary excels in providing primary care, managing chronic conditions, and offering compassionate support, including **end-of-life discussions and potentially euthanasia** in the comfort of a pet's home, although this specific service wasn't detailed in these reviews, it's a common offering for house call vets.
The standout features of At Home Veterinary, as repeatedly highlighted by clients, are the **compassion, professionalism, and efficiency** of its veterinary team. Doctors like Dr. Persson and Dr. Gransky, along with their vet techs, are consistently described as "fantastic," "absolutely great," "efficient, compassionate and professional." They are adept at keeping both pets and owners calm during visits, offering valuable advice on training and care, and demonstrating remarkable patience, even during challenging procedures. The ability of the office to schedule appointments within a reasonable timeframe, even for concerning issues like a lump, is another key feature, emphasizing their responsiveness. The **personalized attention** that comes with a home visit allows the vets to observe pets in their natural environment, potentially gaining insights into their behavior and health that might be missed in a clinic setting. This personalized care, combined with genuine concern for the animals and their owners, makes them "worth every penny" to their clientele.
While specific promotional information beyond the inherent value of their service model isn't detailed, At Home Veterinary's core appeal lies in its **convenience and stress reduction** for pets and owners. They actively promote a service that caters to the specific needs of anxious or multi-pet households, or those simply preferring the ease of an in-home visit. The strong word-of-mouth referrals, such as a client who is "so thankful for the great vets who deliver care at our home," serve as powerful testimonials. For local users in Natick, MA, and surrounding areas, At Home Veterinary provides a modern solution to pet healthcare. Interested clients can contact them directly at **(508) 653-4300** or via mobile at **+1 508-653-4300** to inquire about their services, scheduling availability, and how a house call visit can benefit their pets. Their commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a comfortable setting makes them an excellent choice for pet owners seeking a more personalized veterinary experience.

May 20, 2025 · Carolyn JenksAt Home Veterinary and Dr. Krieger are wonderful! Our two cats have a lot of anxiety about getting into their carriers and Dr. Krieger provides excellent health care right at home. As long as we live in the greater Boston area, At Home Veterinary will take care of our boys.
Apr 17, 2025 · Jean GBWAtHome Vets were fantastic! Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable…you name it! That they took the time to “love on” our two cats was priceless as well. And having them at the house with our older cats made things so much easier and calmer. Finally, they are incredibly responsive on email and the phone as well. We could not be more impressed and happy!
