They were so busy they couldn't even even stand still for a moment, but they were incredibly kind, and incredibly efficient, moving people in and out while still making sure every animal and honestly every person were cared for and provided attention to. I could tell by the smiles as people walked out before me that I came to the right place. I completely understood having to wait, and it didn't bother me, but they seemed genuinely sorry for the delay, and even waived my visit cost at the end. They really took the time to give me some great advice about how to better care for my gecko, and made me feel so at ease about how to get her feeling better, and did so without making me feel judged or bad about myself at all. For such a small facility the team there really knows how to navigate not only around each other, but all the animals and people so well, it was really quite impressive. I have been having such a rough time lately and the kindness they showed had me feeling so much better by the end of my visit. They not only provided good care for my gecko, they really made me feel cared for as well. I definitely recommend them for your reptiles care. I know I will be using them for life.

Welcome to Aspen Companion & Exotics Animal Clinic
Located at 3904 W Eisenhower Blvd, Loveland, CO 80537, USA, Aspen Companion & Exotics Animal Clinic stands as a truly unique and highly valued "Pet Hospital" serving the Loveland community and beyond. Easily reachable by phone at (970) 663-5494 or +1 970-663-5494, this clinic distinguishes itself with its specialized focus on both traditional companion animals and a wide array of exotic pets, a crucial service for owners of less common companions. Its categorization as a "Pet Hospital" indicates a facility equipped to handle a broader spectrum of medical needs, from routine wellness to more complex diagnostic and treatment procedures, often surpassing the scope of a typical veterinary office.
The **environment** at Aspen Companion & Exotics Animal Clinic, while described as a "small facility," is consistently praised for its remarkable efficiency, cleanliness, and soothing atmosphere. Despite often being "so busy they couldn't even stand still for a moment," the team manages to maintain an incredibly organized flow, moving "people in and out while still making sure every animal and honestly every person were cared for and provided attention to." This ability to manage a high volume of patients without compromising on individual attention is truly impressive. Clients have noted that the place was "quiet and very clean," contributing to a calm experience for pets, even those prone to stress. One customer specifically mentioned bringing blankets for their chinchilla, and the staff thoughtfully used them, demonstrating an attentiveness to individual pet comfort and owner preferences. This level of consideration for reducing stress, especially for exotic animals who can be particularly sensitive, underscores their commitment to a positive and therapeutic environment. The visible smiles on clients leaving the clinic are a clear indicator of the positive atmosphere and satisfaction within the facility, immediately signaling to new arrivals that they have indeed "came to the right place."
The **services** offered by Aspen Companion & Exotics Animal Clinic are uniquely tailored to cater to both conventional companion animals (like dogs and cats) and a diverse range of exotic pets. This dual specialization is a significant asset for the Loveland area. For companion animals, it is safe to assume they provide standard veterinary care such as wellness exams, vaccinations, preventative medicine, and potentially basic diagnostics. However, their true distinction lies in their expertise with exotic animals. Customer reviews specifically mention successful care for a **gecko** and a **chinchilla**, highlighting their proficiency with reptiles and small mammals. This implies a comprehensive understanding of the unique physiological needs, husbandry, and common ailments of these less common pets. Services for exotics would typically include specialized examinations, nutritional counseling tailored to species, habitat assessment, disease diagnosis, and appropriate medical and surgical interventions. The advice given on "how to better care for my gecko" suggests that client education is a key component of their service, empowering pet owners to provide optimal at-home care.
The **features** that truly define Aspen Companion & Exotics Animal Clinic extend beyond its specialized services to the exceptional quality of its staff and their approach to care. The team is consistently described as "incredibly kind, and incredibly efficient," operating with a level of coordination that is "really quite impressive" for a small facility. This efficiency ensures that despite their busyness, wait times, though occasionally necessary, are managed with genuine apologies and a clear commitment to minimizing inconvenience. One of the most remarkable features is their **non-judgmental and empathetic approach**. A client shared that they received "great advice about how to better care for my gecko" without feeling "judged or bad about myself at all." This creates a safe and supportive space for pet owners, where they feel comfortable asking questions and receiving honest, helpful guidance without fear of criticism. This empathy extends to recognizing and alleviating client stress; one reviewer noted that the kindness shown by the staff made them "feeling so much better by the end of my visit," indicating that the clinic cares not only for the animal but also for the human companion. The clinic's ability to "navigate not only around each other, but all the animals and people so well" speaks to a highly cohesive and professional team dedicated to providing holistic care.
Regarding **promotional information**, while the provided reviews don't list explicit marketing campaigns, the clinic's most powerful promotional tool is undoubtedly its stellar reputation and word-of-mouth referrals. The enthusiastic endorsements, such as "I definitely recommend them for your reptiles care. I know I will be using them for life," and the immediate positive impression created by seeing "smiles as people walked out before me," are far more effective than any paid advertisement. The waiver of a visit cost for a delayed appointment, as experienced by one customer, also serves as an exceptional gesture of goodwill and customer service, leaving a lasting positive impression that will surely lead to repeat business and recommendations. This commitment to client satisfaction, even when busy, effectively promotes a positive brand image. Their specialization in exotic animals is a niche but significant draw, naturally promoting them to a specific demographic of pet owners who often struggle to find qualified care for their unique companions. By excelling in this specialized area, they inherently promote themselves as the go-to experts for such pets in the region.
In conclusion, Aspen Companion & Exotics Animal Clinic offers a rare combination of specialized veterinary expertise, particularly for exotic animals, delivered within an exceptionally compassionate, efficient, and non-judgmental environment. Their ability to provide high-quality care for both traditional and unique pets, coupled with a staff that genuinely cares for both animals and their owners, makes them an invaluable resource and a highly recommended "Pet Hospital" in Loveland, CO. For anyone seeking dedicated and understanding veterinary care, especially for their exotic companions, this clinic provides a truly outstanding experience.

Apr 15, 2025 · Aj PSweet people here. The appointment was quick and easy to schedule. The place was quiet and very clean. I took my chinchilla for a check-up and was worried he would be stressed but he wasn't at all. I brought blankets to put him on and they used them. I am definitely returning for the care shown to Titus and the generally soothing atmosphere.
Oct 10, 2024 · Amanda WoodwardIncredible customer service and exceptional medical care from the entire team. I had an emergency with one of my bunnies and my typical vet couldn't get her in, the option given to me was CSU, but I needed a more reasonable option. I have been blown away with the kindness, care, and flexibility of ACE animal clinic The receptionist is so kind and helpful, Dr. Dracos is knowledgeable kind and personable and her passion shines through her care for the animals. Her tech is super helpful and so sweet. He was able to show me exactly how to care for my bunny at home. They have been a dream team to work with and both Lady G and I are SO grateful for them! If you're in fort Collins, Windsor or Loveland, these guys are a great exotic vet, way better than driving to Denver for care.
Mar 07, 2025 · Emma BachenbergAmazing care and super great people. Really showed they wanna know everything about our animals for them to get the best care. Will defiantly making this our new vet.
Apr 05, 2025 · Anthony RuizIf I could give her zero stars I would. She was horrible with my bird and rude to others coming in to ask questions. Plus the rooms are completely filthy. She is completely incompetent with antibiotics and all tests. I have known of several other birds who she has killed. Be careful!!
