I have been going there for many years. I adore Dr. Davis and her staff. She is so great with my fur babies Dibbles, Mila, Fiona and the grand fur babies Lexa and Brutus. She really takes time to get to know their history and to know the human parents. She is extremely thorough and don't play when it comes to figuring out exactly what is going on with the babies. She tries to save the human parents money, while ensuring the pets get the absolute best care possible. I highly recommend her. I would add that being patient with her questions is essential to getting to the root cause of the problem with your pet and her ensuring she provides the best course of medical service for them. When you get to know her, you will absolutely love her dearly!

I took my very sick cat to the office on a Saturday morning. Dr. Davis agreed to see me that afternoon. When I tell you Dr. Davis loves her animals. She is very intelligent and knows about he pets. My cat was a goner, but because of Dr. Davis I still have my Gizmo. Now she is business and no nonsense when it comes to the health of her patients. She's the best. Also kind and caring. If you are looking for someone to really care Dr. Davis is the BEST.

This place is unprofessional. The Dr. don't listen to what you request. She says one thing and does another without your permission and charges you for work you didn't approve of. She's very rude and don't know how to speak to people. Other than that, she treats the animals with care.

Dr. Davis and Ashland Animal Hospital is an amazing, knowledgeable, caring veterinarian. I had taken my older dog Ginger to South Loop Vet Med. Receiving a diagnosis and quote for the Aural Hematoma that had formed on her right ear, it appeared a bit 'light'. I opted to retreat and get a 2nd opinion. I called Dr. Davis in exaperation after calls to several other vets. She was direct, to the point, and patient, advising a treatment program. Unlike the ER intent to simply 'triage' (bandaid) the situation, she outlined a pre and post procedures that would commence. Two days later, having made an appointment, everything went exactly as she indicated. Now, three days after the procedure and after care, am elated to find Ginger better off having been in her care. Ginger, and my 2yr old Staffordshire Terrier, Duncan, will definitely continue as her patients. Hands down!
