Feb 08, 2025 · Meghan StarkEveryone here is absolutely amazing. From the receptionist to the assistant to the vet. They saved my babies life and her pups, I’m forever grateful. Thank you for caring about my sweet girl. Dr.Goff is a hero, no cape, just his cowboy boots and mustache saving lives! Lol
May 10, 2025 · Robin JohnsonHands down the best vet I have ever had! My dog is a GINORMOUS, ill-tempered, people-hating, but ultimately loving rescue, and even though he is great with other animals, including my elderly cat, my chickens, and every other animal he sees, he is terrified and aggressive toward other humans. The folks here have been very patient with him and have given him all the care he needs. They take it slow and easy, and most importantly, they do not treat him like he is a bad dog (and do not treat me like I am a bad dog-daddy for his behavior issues). They give him love and treats and kindness. EVERYONE, the front desk staff, the techs, and the vets, they all treat us like we belong there. I have had several vets in the area that refused to treat Severus because of his behavioral issues, but I trust these folks as much as I trust my own doctor :) Edit: A year later, and my pup has some issues because of his age. He has some health problems that make him even more aggressive than normal when handled by someone other than myself. Dr. Goff and his associates still treat him like an old friend, even though my dog wants to take their faces off :) When this dog rescued me in 2016 from Brother Wolf, the folks there told me he might never be good around people. That has proved true, but he has been my best friend all these years. The folks at Asheville Veterinary Associates West treat him like their best friend too :)

Nov 21, 2024 · A AsencioMy visits are always wonderful! My Boston Terrier, Popeye, receives acupuncture from Dr. A. She is an amazing doc. Very patient and loving! Today, Popeye & Toby, my yorkie, saw Dr. Goff. Their exams were very thorough. Dr. Goff was very welcoming of conversation about their health! He took the time needed to completely cover their annual exams. The front desk staff know us on a first name basis and are always very welcoming. But, you better watch out for Lis come 4pm😁(joking) she is always great! I feel as if the staff here are an extension of my family and always there for me and my pups!
