I think it's been long enough for me to be able to finally give some type out some praise to the staff here. But first of all - yes, I highly recommend trusting this business. I brought my big beloved orange cat boy here towards the end of his precious life. I had been to a couple places trying to help him, and well.. they did not suffice. Finally, I decided to try this place out. Immediately everyone in here made me feel completely at home from the moment I walked in. Sure, the lobby can be an intimidating place - but even there everything was handled with a certain grace. Eventually, we were given water, our privacy, and all the time we needed. And so much more. The staff as a whole were attentive, patient, and understanding, never once giving the impression of exasperation at anything in front of them. And I can't go on without mentioning their knowledge and expertise, with the ability to figure out the best care for a unique situation that others couldn't. As we unraveled with the boxes that later came, we found a small gift that wasn't even an option. To top it off, a truly special letter with personal thoughts from Dr. Higgins and Dr. Jenco came along with it. Sure my best buddy was right there with me, but there was something special about that time and place. And I can't thank you all enough for helping make it that way. I visited the hospital two separate times, both only for urgent matters. We recently had to euthanize our dog Coco as the result of an emergency and we received a card with these prints in it. Maybe the staff knows how meaningful they are but maybe they don’t. The morning that my dog was ill I held her nose and told her how much I love her and I kissed it. I actually didn’t realize how much a nose print would mean, until I received this. Arrowhead handled our emergency quickly and were honest about the severity and options as well as likely outcomes. I believe the cost for care was fair. I appreciate the dignity involved in allowing us time with our family member as she passed away. I know that this is the worst part of animal medical care and I thank you for your compassion.

I've taken my pets here for the past 11 yrs. The expanded hours are a true testament to how committed they are to taking care of our pets. I just had my cat's teeth cleaned. They were very upfront and honest about what they may have to do and the possible costs. In the end they were 100% honest with what was needed. I will always continue to take my pets there since they show this level of honesty and integrity.

My 9 month old German Shepherd was experiencing pretty extreme discomfort in his right leg that had gotten worse on a Friday night. Our normal vet is closed on Saturdays, but I called several other vet clinics who were rude and happy to turn us away. From the first call to Arrowhead the staff was friendly and made arrangements for us to get an appointment the same day, and actually asked me what was wrong with my dog. Dr Griffin could not have been kinder and diagnosed my pup without needing to do x-rays or any other extreme measures. Everyone was kind and helpful, the clinic was clean, and they are reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend if you need a vet to get your sick or injured animal looked at!!

Our Teddy Roosevelt Terrier was diagnosed with Hemolytic anemia by Rino Vet emergency pet hospital. Now that she’s stable we had to move care to a regular care vet clinic. We chose Arrowhead because of excellent past experiences, and the fact that they are well equipped both as a clinic and with experienced vets to handle a complex long term situation with our pup. Because arrowhead also offers ER hospital treatment we feel safe and comfortable with them moving forward. I would recommend Arrowhead for routine and more complex vet care. They have been excellent to work with.
