Our almost 2 year old dog Spencer has been going here since he was about 9 weeks old. Due to me being a paranoid pet parent and him having a very sensitive tummy/skin, we have probably taken him here over 10 times his whole life between exams/shots/concerns. They can almost always get us in within a week if we need it but let me book out appointments pretty far in advanced as well. They have always been so kind, polite and thorough. They will always answer all of my overly worried questions and will take any information I can give them when diagnosing him They never leave a stone left unturned. They always go over with us all of the options we have, what the prices are and what they think is necessary and unnecessary (at this time). I have continued to take Spencer there because they truly care about the animals they work on. I have also taken both my leopard gecko and ball python there a few times when they were not eating or had a goopy eye. They squeezed them in same day or next day and will usually just recommend some meds after an exam and say if they're still having problems then we'll do X,Y and Z. Compared to other vet in the area they are a little more expensive but I feel it's completely worth it and will pay it every time. Shame on some of these reviews! It is okay for a vet to be out of your price range but it is not okay for reviewers to say Ark is "money hungry" for charging for their services (which they thoroughly go over at every visit).

I love Dr. Dixon! She has been treating my rats for a few years now. They always get you in as needed, staff is so incredibly nice and the doctors aren’t afraid of my pets! Had bad experiences in the past with vets not knowing how to handle them or making me do it for them. None of the doctors here are like that are truly care about your pets. I was taking one of my rats to another vet which was closer to my house but I wasn’t happy with the care so I took her here. She ended up being mis-diagnosed which Dr. Dixon caught. So they are incredibly nice but also have the best vets. Don’t ever close!!! ❤️

Incase anybody needed a new veterinarian to see and a new hospital, my hamster Sylvester's whole treatment was at Ark Veterinary Hospital. I got him from the pet store and he fell ill with wet tail a couple days after brining him home. I brought him in as soon as I noticed something was wrong. We saw Dr Frocillo and she seriously did everything possible for Sylvester. She took AGGRESSIVE treatment and really listened to me even when I was saying the same thing over and over again (like a scared first time hamster mom). He was on 4 medications twice a day, SQ fluids twice a day, and syringe feedings 3x a day. She let me bring him to the hospital for almost a week every single day for exams, his fluids, meds, and feedings. Alyssa the LVT was the best. She was kind and patient with me and Sylvester and she was the one who took care of him the most. She was so nice to my littler Sylvester and made him comfortable. she patiently listened to my concerns each day over and over again, and she even tried to offer a rescue facility for ginnys and sometimes hamsters if something happened to him. She taught me how to do his treatments at home even though I felt I wasn't doing them right so they allowed me to bring him there everyday. She did warn me that she thought something else was wrong with my hamster other than wet tail because he didn't seem to be getting better. he ended up taking a good turn for a day or two then a step back today and I decided to euthanize him because he looked so sick and sad. He was loved the whole time. Both of them are the reason I will be bringing my cats there for the exams and medical needs. They were very professional and kept me up to date with information and concerns about Sylvester. The only issue I ran into was with a LVT named Christine. She made me feel like it was an inconvenience to answer questions, and even to take a weight on my poor little hamster. He dropped 20g in less than a week and I just wanted to know what he weighed before I dropped him off. She rushed me through the intake process and had the attitude that other pets were waiting for her care- as if mine wasn't practically dying. It had been my 5th day in a row bringing him there and I already knew the drill, but if it were Alyssa she would have done it with a smile on her face. Regardless if I were respawned in a different life as a hamster please bring me to Ark

Grateful for them, they have seen both my rabbits and ive experienced great care each time. They are compassionate and fair, sometimes cost is a factor for us and they are always helpful.

I wish i could leave a better review but im really disappointed in the diagnosis given to my pup. My puppy went in with knee pain and limp, I was emotionally convinced to spend hundreds of dollars on other things. They did an x ray and told me puppy has a partial cruciate tear. They told me to have her sedated for 30 days and bed rest. Which means giving her pain meds 3 times a day. By day 3 at home my dog was totally better. I asked for the x rays from Ark and got a second opinion. The new doctor told me my puppy simply had an inflamed knee and its unlikely Ark would be able to tell a tear from the films. the staff was so nice, but this misdiagnosis meant me drugging my 10 week puppy for 30 days for no reason. also doing emotional selling when i’m already concerned for my dog and ultimately getting me to spend over $500 on shots, tests and pills my dog doesn’t even need.
