This is more of a heartfelt thank you and less of a review of Ark Animal Homecare. You can’t review character, it is or it isn’t, and the staff at Ark has character in abundance. On December 19th after a valiant battle with a rare, aggressive cancer, my 7 year old pup, “Frankie”, assisted by the incomparable pros at Ark, said goodbye in the comfort of his home. Over the past 3 weeks of his rapid decline, the staff at Ark demonstrated a level of professionalism and compassion second to none. These individuals rose above anything one could ask for, in caring for “daddy’s boy”. Due to an unforeseen decline in Frankie’s condition, the scheduled date our boy was leaving us had to be moved up. Compassionately, Ark adjusted their schedules to meet his needs. When I called, Sandy, the office coordinator, understood the needs of a grieving dad, as I asked questions about end of life care for my boy on his last day. When Dr. Erika and Kim arrived, even with his strength waning, Frankie leaped up to greet them. It was touching to see that Kim had in her hands, a can of cheese whiz. A treat that Frankie looked forward to during his visits to the office. Dr. Erika walked our family through the process and after Frankie had left us gave us time to grieve as a family over our pup. I brought my pup into our home and they allowed me the dignity to carry him out. In the agony of losing our boy, it occurred to me that this is their job. These people were part of his life from the start and they were there mourning by our side. There can be no doubt that he lived a healthier, happier life because he was an Ark pup. Thank you all for the job you do so well!

I have to say, I have never ever had a more pleasant experience with a vet than with Ark Animal Hospital. We had an incident where our little princess had what appeared to be something drastically wrong with her left hind quarter. We had called our local vet that Addison had been going to for many years and they had informed me that it would be several weeks before they could see her. We weren’t going to wait that long and we didn’t want to take her to the emergency room. My wife had made a call to Ark on Monday morning and they arrived at our home that same day! Kathy and her team were absolutely amazing, understanding, professional and extremely polite. It turns out that Addison had a puncture in between her pads that had gotten infected. X-rays, antibiotics and pain medication were given for the dog. Follow up provided two weeks later here at the house. Absolutely amazing! Love these folks and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinarian that truly cares about an animals well being. We now have a new veterinary clinic. Kudos to Ark Animal Hospital. Keep up the wonderful work and many thank yous.

My poor 10 1/2 Golden Retriever was unable to walk, which also happened to her last year. She’s overweight so we couldn’t get her to our Vet. I called her regular vet and her Dr. said that was awful and no medicine will help her. Then she said her age, and her cancer that’s is rare and I should put her down!! However she said this last year also and my dog starting walking after 3 weeks. So her vet gave me places to call to do that. Well just because she can’t walk doesn’t mean she should be put down! I’m home everyday and night so I slept on the couch with her beside me in case she needed me.I just bought a cheap 5x7 carpet for her to grip if needed. Laid down a bunch of chucks and when she would pee or poop, she would give me three barks to let me know and I clean her immediately. How do you put a dog down? That’s happy wagging her tail eating normally playing with toys, etc. just because you can’t walk no way was I given up on my baby! I found ARC out of Chester NH. The vet that came was Dr. Stephanie and she was a true angel, honestly! She reviewed all her med rec and when I made appt I knew both dogs needed their physicals soon and shots so I booked for that since they were going to need them. Let me tell you Dr Stephanie and the technician (sorry can’t remember her name) we’re incredible!! They were here for 3 hours in that visit because they had two dogs to do and they ended up getting complete physicals as well as my baby girl needed a lot of biopsies To look at that cancer again And it came back as another different cancer That is extremely rare. At this point, my baby girl. Started turning around on her own and then one day got up and walked! But when she was unable to walk, I would flip her a couple times a day as well as massage her and move her arms and leg legs as exercise to stretch her limbs. I recommend Dr. Stephanie at arc she goes above and beyond for your pets, And the office staff is amazing. Their prices were excellent. It cost me less money for two dogs, complete physicals biopsies, and medication’s then it did going to her regular vet on one appointment just for her. If you love your pets as much as we love ours ,. Then you would give them a try. My pets were so comfortable and didn’t have any fear whatsoever. Because they are extremely gentle and thorough. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I've been using Ark's mobile services for years now and the staff have always been extremely caring and compassionate. This past Saturday, I had to bring my cat into the clinic as she was sick. We were met with the same compassion and kindness. I was visibly upset and stressed over the situation and they were so understanding and empathetic (not only to me, but my cat as well). I've had nothing but great experiences and can't recommend them enough.

Ark is absolutely amazing! Their staff is so great and patient with my dog who has had terrible experiences with vets in the past and now gets anxiety at the vet. I highly highly recommend them. Ghost wants to thank his vet personally for being so kind.
