Our 2yo borderaussie rescue, Twiggy, is obsessed with chewing of sticks, logs and whatever else she can get her mouth on. Turns out that’s not a good thing for healthy teeth and enamel. : (. Our primary vet , Dr Tom Newland , suggested we take her to AVDT and have her examined, and I’m glad we did. Dr Fink and staff couldn’t of been more thorough, patient and professional. Twiggy issues were addressed in a few short hours she’s back home with a healthy new smile. The team was incredibly comforting and kind to Twiggy as well and made a point of keeping her time under anesthesia to less than an hour. Her teeth are now good as new! If your pup is in need of dental care, I’d highly recommend Dr Fink and all the the fantastic people at Az Vet Dental Specialist !

Dr. Fink and all staff at the Scottsdale location were beyond fantastic today. After a 5 week long complicated post-surgery ordeal with another vet, they took our case right away and I received an immediate appointment. Dr. Fink removed 7-ish roots and other bone particles that were carelessly and recklessly left behind from the original below-sub-par vet including a very sharp piece of bone fragment actually protruding from his gum. My poor Smokey endured 5 weeks of intermittent tooth and mouth pain accompanied by shocking inflamation before Dr. Fink analyzed the underlying problem and fixed it same day. Everything I received today was very impressive. The colorized photos of the oral pain were amazingly high quality and easy to understand. There is also a detailed record accounting for every 5 minutes during the procedure. I’ve never seen anything so awesome. I’m beyond grateful for the staffs’ empathy for the situation and Dr. Fink’s easy-to-understand explanation of the root cause (pun intended) and treatment plan. I am still shocked and dismayed how any feline dentist who claimed to do a full mouth extraction LEFT THE ROOTS and then sutured it up! I’m still mortified. 😡 Thank you, Scottsdale team, for superior customer service in a beautiful office. I am eternally grateful to you all. 🐈 🙏🏼

Home tonight with out 6 pound 13 year old Maltese who has a heart murmur. She got excellent care during her dental from Dr. Fink and everybody there. We were terrified of having her anesthetized but were carefully reassured. We were notified about every step and got Maggie back as quickly as possible. We were given great information about what was done and why and careful informative instructions about follow up care. Cannot recommend too highly.

They did a wonderful job after our dachshund's jaw broke during an extraction at our regular vet. They also completed other extractions and took care of some fistulas during the same time. Our boy is all healed and doing very very well! They are worth every penny and their compassion is top notch!

We cannot be happier with AZ Veterinary Dental Specialists. Dr. Adrian (and the entire staff) are fantastic. We have been going here for 25 years with all our dogs. Our current dog has a special condition (megaesophagus) that makes anesthesia more difficult. They know what they are doing and we never have a worry when Nala is getting her teeth cleaned. Not only are they skilled, but the people are so kind and attentive. This is a wonderful place for animal dentistry.
