  • Equine surgical procedures
  • Veterinary care for horses
  • Phone consultations

Potential clients should consider the range of experiences shared by past customers. It is recommended to contact the center directly to discuss specific concerns, inquire about their expertise in particular areas, and obtain detailed information about their procedures and policies. Direct communication will help ensure that the center meets the individual needs of your equine animal.

Due to the mixed reviews, it is especially important to discuss any concerns or questions directly with the veterinary center prior to services rendered.

I’ve debated writing a review for a while. But my horse has never been the same. Diagnosed with colic, I was told if we didn’t do surgery he would die. We did the surgery. It was a hind gut ulcer, so they cut him open for nothing. He has never been the same. It cost 18k for them to cut him open and point at something. I didn’t even get a SORRY. They point blank told me he would die if we didn’t. No discount, no sorry. Still think about it all the time three years later. He recovered but has never been the same horse. I’ve trained and sold many horses, this one is one I’ll never get rid of because I love him too much. Just sucks I never got a sorry or discount for ruining his life. I’ll never forgot the doctor who was so casual about giving a misdiagnosis. Edit: I say ruin him because he now has some back problems which stem from not having as string as a core as he used to. Because obviously he had his whole stomach stitched together.

My horse needed a scope done due to chronic choking. It required an impromptu overnight stay due to some technical issues. Georgia didn’t seem to mind. In fact, she refused to load. How many people does it take to load Georgia? Quite a few. But the wonderful vets and techs at Arizona Equine got her in! They went above and beyond during her stay. Georgia said, “five stars. Didn’t like the tube down my nose. But would stay here again. Good amenities.” The scope was done quickly and everything was explained along the way. Was able to do it without sedation and they kept my horse calm through it. I will be switching to Arizona Equine for all of my horse needs going forward. I had used them back in 2021 when I had to help my first horse cross. They came so quickly on a Sunday morning. They were very patient and compassionate despite the fact it was a muddy rainy mess. Let me take a few more minutes to say goodbye and ensured his comfort through it all.

Dr. Kelsey is one of the kindest and most compassionate souls on the planet. She's been out to help my rescue horse several times this past year and is always willing to answer questions. I feel really lucky to have her and all the other miracle workers at AZ Equine watching out for my boy! THANK YOU DR. K!!!

Our Gelding Taitos was near dead when I found him Sunday morning, July 21, 2024 laying in his stall. After our local large animal vet was unable to help due to a blockage...we drove him from Tucson to AZ Equine in Gilbert. Dr. Howard is amazing, he saved our boys live with immediate surgery on Sunday afternoon at 4:35 pm. The culprit was a blockage the size of a softball containing Mesquite beans, knocked off by a heavy storm...he ate a bunch. Make sure to rake them up and away from a heavy muncher! Thank you for everything you did for us Dr. Howard & team. You are all a blessing! The Hoffmann's and Taitos back at home today💕
