Oct 14, 2024 · Demetria MallesWhen we moved from California we worried we would not find a vet that would include both homeopathic and traditional treatments. This clinic truly has a holistic approach and went above our expectations. We started with Dr. Darko and his initial assessment was very comprehensive. During recent years it was Dr. Dias who took over her care. She was able to diagnose our dog Sushi with CKD and gave us treatment options that allowed us to have a full year and a half with her instead of just a couple of months after diagnosis. We have no words to express appreciation for such a gift. Everyone on staff was always understanding and helpful. We were treated with respect and always provided with the information and tools we needed. Some vets have astronomical prices and we always felt we were charged based on the true needs that she had. When our Sushi passed after 16 yrs we felt that they joined us in our pain and we are eternally grateful for their help. Now we have Dolce (1 1/2 year old cat) that we trust will be equally well taken care of. I highly recommend this clinic based on their wonderful and dedicated staff.
Dec 26, 2024 · mimi zakaThe best vets , techs and staff all together. They always are so caring, and always have helped my pup Milo for the last 7years, to the point he gets so excited to go , and see the staff. They are NOT all about making money, they will go to many lengths to make sure your pets will be ok and make sure the treatment plan is affordable. The staff genuinely care so deeply about the animals brought in. I will never take my pets else where, and will always recommend this vet office!!
Sep 27, 2024 · Nina Francis SantanaI went because I noticed my cat was missing a nail. The vet said believe it or not cats can do this to themselves if they get snagged. She also said that it appeared that my cat had been declawed. She prescribed my cat antibiotics, a x-ray, and blood test in preparation for a surgery to add stitches to close the wound and surgery would require sedation. The day of the surgery she took a look at my cat and said she was much better and said she was not going to add a stitch because if there is still an infection it would be stuck if she closed the wound, so she left it to heal on its own because in her words "something may come out". Well ladies and gentlemen what came out was her nail. Her nail came out. My cat did not declaw herself. And I find it hard to believe that a trained veterinarian with experience wouldn't know that. The problem is I was advised to pay for an xray, and a blood test that was apparently needed to test whether she would respond to sedation well before the surgery, which was far more expensive than the cheap antibiotics that she actually received. This experience has left me with feelings of being manipulated just to pay alot of money by a dishonest veterinarian who knew my cat didn't need an xray or blood test for a surgery she knew she didn't need and to think I was still being recommended to pay for all these other things after informing me that surgery wasn't necessary that I thankfully declined is nuts as well. My cat is fine. Going so far to exaggerate the wound by saying it wasn't just the nail gone but all the way down the the first knuckle which is where doctors cut to actually declaw cats and that there was a long cut on top of her paw (which I didn't see) and assuring me the nail wouldn't grow back, looking back is appalling. I see other people having great experiences, however based on my experience I would say look for other facilities for your pet because who wants to risk being taking advantage of or manipulated to pay a high cost for something that isn't needed by someone who may be dishonest with you. SN: I asked my friend if her cat had ever been sedated and she said yea by her mobile groomer. I asked if they gave a blood test beforehand and she laughed and said no.
