I took my 15-year-old chihuahua last week to this facility, I don't want to go into details because only the thought of my baby passing away brings me a lot of sadness. Daisy passed away and I ordered her to be cremated along with her paw prints. I received her ashes today but not paw prints. I called Animal Medical Center and they told me they just forgot to order them even after I paid for them. My pets are like my babies and honestly, it was heartbreaking knowing that her prints were never ordered this kind of stuff might seem very insignificant for many, but for others, it's a big deal like it is for me, Animal Medical Center needs to be more careful about this kind of stuff and have in consideration costumers feelings because our pets are not just animals but also our family. Thanks.

What a terrible place to take an animal for an emergency. Was told she needed xrays so they took her back was told the xrays wouldnt show much because they were to blurry but of coarse i had to pay $330 dollars for them they tried to do a ultrasound but the vet said she didnt kno how to read them but if i wanted to i could leave her overnight for $1500 so the other vet could look at it in the morning ...been cheaper to get a room at the holiday inn. Went to another vet the day after and was told the xrays were useless so paid another $250 for xrays again. So called back today to try to get refunded and was laughed at.. VERY GLAD I DIDNT LEAVE HER OVERNIGHT BECAUSE IF YOU READ THROUGH THEIR REVIEWS EVERY OTHER ONE INVOLVES THEM KILLING SOMEONES ANIMAL SOMEHOW....Went in with expectation that I would receive answers but left with a bunch of idks and maybes and some pain meds $600 wasted

We've taken our Antolian Shepherd, Sheba several times over the last 4 years and we've always had great care. This past week we had to make the hard decision to put her down due to cancer. Everyone we encountered was so compassionate and caring. As long as we have animals we will continue to use this clinic. Thanks so much! Love from the Mercers.

i just want to share my experience with animal medical center, a little background is that my cat Aries had a uterine blockage. i called them and they told me to come in immediately, once i arrived they took Aries back and got right to work on him very quickly. the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! after that visit, about a month later Aries got blocked again. (very common in male cats) i took him back there and again, the staff was very friendly, attentive, and hardworking to help my poor cat. they suggested Aries undergo a PU surgery to widen his urethra so that his crystals could pass more smoothly. they preformed this surgery right away and it was a success! with Aries spending a few nights in the animal clinic, the staff called me and gave me great updates on him. when i picked him up they took me into a room and explained in great detail the aftercare and what signs to look for in his recovery. this put great thoughts in my mind and i felt at ease. i highly recommend this vet to every one! they have great prices, friendly staff, clean area, private rooms, and great knowledge. 10/10 will be bringing all of my pets there in the future!

WARNING ****UPDATE: Veterinary Emergency Group on StonesRiver is amazing if you’re in need of an emergency vet in Murfreesboro. **** I took my 13 year old dog to this emergency vet one year ago. I haven't been able to write about my experience due to trying to overcome the pain. My dog had gotten into chocolate, they assured me he was fine, but they wanted to keep him overnight for observation. They called around 3 am and said I needed to come right away. They told me when they went to take him outside to potty he was walking correctly. He passed about 10 minutes after my arrival. I believe negligence is what killed my dog. I don't believe they were monitoring his vitals or he wouldn't have become so critical so quickly. I've never been so devastated. They told me he seemed fine until removing him from his crate. Something could have been done sooner, they were not observing him. The man and woman smelled like cigarettes, I can only imagine they were living it up, smoking outside, not tending to peoples precious loved ones. I can not think of that night without breaking. Being assured he was okay and would pull through to then be called at 3 am is unfathomable. His stomach had flipped at some point in the night and it was missed. Ironically he had his well visit earlier that same day and his vet said he was in perfect health and had at least three more years to live. If you can drive out of Murfreesboro to a different 24 hour clinic I would recommend it. I do know some of my statements are speculation when it comes to the smoking, I'm just not sure how you miss his stomach filling up with gas and flipping until you take him to the bathroom.. isn't that the reason he stayed overnight.. in case of an emergency like that? I will always love my first baby. I hope the two working that night never work with anything alive ever again.
